getting alerts saying "so and so started a thread"

Usually don't get alerts unless I'm quoted or someone mentions me @

Now I'm getting these alerts such as "Lumpy1 started a thread" or "Pillars started a thread".

Anyone else getting these type of alerts?

I did just move up to Tapatalk Pro, on my phone, but this is happening on my desktop
