Now that libs have begged hard enough to open Pandoras box, the sleeping monster will soon turn America into the worlds largest welfare state.

Health Care Law's Tax Hikes Are Coming: Who Pays?

Lots of the noise is about the financial consequences for people who decline to get coverage and businesses that don't offer their workers an adequate health plan. Some 4 million individuals without insurance are expected to pay about $55 billion over eight years, according to the Congressional Budget Office's estimates. Employers could be dinged an estimated $106 billion for failing to meet the mandate, which starts in 2014.

But that mandate money, whether it's called taxes or penalties, is overwhelmed by other taxes, fees and shrunken tax breaks in the law. These other levies could top $675 billion over the next 10 years, under the CBO's projections of how much revenue the government would lose if the law were repealed.

The biggest chunk is in new taxes on the nation's top 2 percent of earners — some $318 billion over a decade.

Other major taxes are aimed at the health care industry, and some of that cost is sure to be passed along to consumers as higher prices.

A rundown of the most significant tax changes — and who pays:

And let's not forget that the SCOTUS gave the Federal Government the ability to tax something out of existence as well. Now if the Federal Government finds that a certain product is "Bad", they can tax it out of existence and it would be constitutional.

It looks like only the very wealthy will be paying. If you make more than $500,000. profit on the sale of your house you'll be taxed on that. I doubt that will be a burden to most people.

Wrong. Everybody pays when the quality if health care goes down. When waiting lines develop because the committee to decide who gets what fails to function...everybody pays. When the doctors quit working because the incentive is gone...everybody pays.

If you are not aware of all the provisions in the liberal's version of health care, maybe you should have somebody explain them to you.

It looks something like this:

The Alternative Quality Contract, a global payment model put in place by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts in 2009, has both curbed costs and improved the quality of care, according to a Harvard Medical School study published today in the journal Health Affairs.

Global payments, a lump sum to cover all the care of a defined group of patients, are viewed by many experts as a cost-effective alternative to the traditional fee-for-service system.

Massachusetts enacted sweeping state health reforms in 2006 considered by many to be a prototype of the 2010 federal health law, and it is now experimenting with equally dramatic measures to rein in health care spending. The AQC is very similar to the Affordable Care Act’s Pioneer Accountable Care Organization contracts – a part of the Medicare shared-savings program.

Obamacare just cut my HSA max in half.

What "HSA max"?

Greenbeard was ONE of those 18 million Pelosi "free-loaders", i.e. people that don't have health insurance BUT pay OUT of pocket that WERE included when Obamatrons talk about the 50 million "uninsured" AND now with Obamacare passed...THEY ARE FREE-LOADERS!

Truth is Obamacare was passed based on false premise of 50 million uninsured!
NOT!!!
10 million counted as uninsured ARE NOT citizens!
14 million counted as uninsured ARE covered by Medicaid!
18 million counted as uninsured are now those bad "free-loaders" i..e people that didn't need, (most under age 34) make over $50K (many had HSAs!!!) and most pay when they needed health services out of pocket!
As a result of the FACT that these "uninsured" under 34 generally pay $1,448 in OUT of pocket health expenses per year!
SO WHY would then spend money on health insurance???
Age 20 annual per capita expenditure: $1,448 -- Age 40 $2,601-- Age 65 $10,245
Source: The Lifetime Distribution of Health Care Costs

BUT FACTS don't have a bearing here right!!!
