There is no question that money is the root of all our present problems and if we do not somehow manage to eliminate its corruptive influence on our political system our democracy will soon transform into a two class plutocracy.

There is no reason why federal elections cannot be funded with public money, thereby eliminating the bribery known as PACs (Political Action Committee) "contributions." All it will take is a simple Constitutional amendment which will require some political action on the part of ordinary citizens.

So anyone who is interested in signing a rapidly growing petition to help bring this very important political action about, please goto getmoneyout.com

Or you can text to: +19177206888

PS: For you Conservatives who support the Citizens United outrage, keep in mind that money is what put Obama in Office. He raised more money than any of his opponents.

Yeah, right...Let's put the politicians in charge of whose campaigns are worthy of being funded and whose aren't!

Why do you assume politicians would decide?
"Public funding" means gubmint funding, which means taxpayer funding.

The demopublicatican politicians have already made the hurdles almost insurmountably high for who is considered "legitimate" enough of a presidential candidate to participate in presidential debates...What makes you so gullible to believe that they wouldn't do the same thing for who is or isn't worthy of having their campaigns financed?
