George Will: Palin would lose 44 states if she ran for President

I wanted to spend the next 16 years preserving life and not destroying it.

I certainly didn't *leave* the Army to make money. Once you factor in loans, loss of pension, and loss of earning potential, I would have been more financially secure in the Army than I will be now.
So, you would have made more in officer pay, then you would as a doctor?

You might want to re-think that statement.

My cousins a doctor. He paid his loans off in ten years based on his pay. And he's filthy fucking rich as we speak, and getting richer by the day. He's not worried about a pension, and neither will you be. Unless you can't handle your money, you'll be just fine!

If you wanted to "preserve life, instead of destroying it" and money didn't matter, you could have just joined the greenpeace freaks and saved the friggin whales for free.

So, in a nutshell, you call Palin a quitter, yet say you basically "left" the army. What she did was no different than you. She "LEFT" the governorship to go do other things. Just the same as you.

Not trying to bust your balls buddy, but your argument is extrememy weak, to the point of being completely moot. It's just more typical left wing drivel based on left wing hatred of Palin.

Don't you love the spin?:lol::lol:

Anyone want to guess what would happen to a member of the military if they decided to "quit" in the middle of a 4 year enlistment?

I am beginning to wonder if Wicked Jester has ever seen the inside of a AAFES station.
Do you know the reasons why she quit?..You know, that shit about trying to defend herself against multiple frivolous lawsuits while trying to do her job effectively. The lawsuits that ultimately would deam her as a lame duck governor who couldn't do her job, thereby doing the citizens of her state no damn good?

Or do you just talk out of your ass?

And, was Palin a member of the military. Was she bound by UCMJ?

Do you even have a clue as to what UCMJ stands for?

BTW, in case you didn't know, GTH was a commissioned officer. He wasn't enlisted. Do you understand the difference?

Palin just doesn't pass the smarts test, and does not project power. This disqualifies her from Presidential contention. As a Republican cheerleader, A+

Had she not been trying to skirt law with every move she made as governor, maybe she wouldn't have all those lawsuits against her, ya think? How many other governors do you see being rendered inefective because they have to deal with lawsuits against them?

If she couldn't handle the pressure at that level, what on earth would make anyone think she could handle the level of pressure that comes with the office of the President?

Yeah, some funny names like Sasha and Malia, eh?

Christ, liberals are fucking idiots!:cuckoo:

Obama's children:
Malia was born in 1998. 653th most common name that year.
Sasha was born in 2001. 424th most common name that year.

Palin's children:
Track was born in 1989. Not in the top 1000 that year.
Bristol was born in 1990. Not in the top 1000 that year.
Willow was born in 1994. Not in the top 1000 that year.
Piper was born in 2001. 411th most common name that year.
Trig was born in 2008. Not in the top 1000 that year.

You were saying?

It's a fundie thing, those weird names. It's their way of saying, we're Christian extremists, we're not like you normal people, we don't want to be like you normal people,

and don't you forget it!!!!!!!!!!!!

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

It's not a fundie thing as much as an age thing. The younger you are when you start popping out kids, the more likely you are to give them an exotic name.

And how many of those bogus suits have been thrown out?

How much of HER money did she lose defnding those bogus suits?

And, when did I ever say she was presidential material?

She needs to go start in the senate. If she doesn't pull an Obama, and is actually a viable senator with some actual evidence of getting things done, and of course showing up to vote on important matters, she just may be presidential material at some point. She's not there yet, so you people can settle down, and hopefully stop the disgusting attacks against she and her children.

What it is, is that the left is watching their boy fail at every level. Hence, they've been reduced to attacking Palin and her children in a sorry effort to save face for their huge mistake of voting style over substance.

Oh, and where's your evidence that she was "skirting the law". Seems the courts have deemed otherwise by throwing the majority of those bogus suits in the shit can. So, I assume you can show cause or, you're just flinging shit against the wall hoping it'll stick.

It seems as though the left can't get enough of Sarah. Most people on the right respect her but know that she is not ready for the presidency.

Hmm, like the right's obsession with Obama?

Hmm, like Obama is the President and puts himself in the limelight on almost a daily basis... Never has any President been seen as much as Obama. Palin you almost have to look for.

After she quit, name me a week we didnt see her on the television, print or announcing one of her genius facebook rants..

What? Who would be dumb enough to vote for a quitter? Seriously, who the hell would vote her into a senate seat.. That is a bridge to no where.....thanks, but no thanks.

This sentence is an example of something that sounds really good, but holds no water. It's just not true.

Obama is on television because he's the President - it's his job to be on television.

You mean all those frivolous lawsuits that were filed against her for no reason other than to harass her? The ones that eventually were all dropped or dismissed. The lawsuits that were more at once than any Governor ever had to deal with? You mean those simple little no pressure lawsuits? And it wasn't so much the pressure on her but her family and on her job. Very difficult to do your job when you have to meet with lawyers everyday. She did what she had to do. At least her explanation seems feasible enough to me. But you haters keep on hating.

Can You name a President who has been in the news either on television, radio or papers as much as Mr Obama? No you cannot. The man is an exposure junkie.

You say that like it's a fact. But you have no facts to back it up.

Just because it feels like Obama has been on TV more to you, doesn't make it true.

There were only three active ethic "complaints" at the time Palin quit Alaska. She had 18 lodged against her during her tenure as governor. Two complaints alleged two of Palin's top aides misused their official positions for Palin's personal and political gain. The complaints said then-press secretary Bill McAllister and Kris Perry -- director of the governor's Anchorage office -- worked on state time to benefit Palin's interests during and after her vice presidential quest. The third charged Palin with misusing the governor's office for personal gain by securing unwarranted benefits and receiving improper gifts through the Alaska Fund Trust.

Funny you should inquire as to how much of her personal money she used to defend herself in those complaints because she was found guilty of ethics violations regarding her using public funds to pay her personal legal fees. Imagine that.

I can't post a link here yet so just google "Ethics Complaint pursuant to Alaska Statute 39.52.340" and "Sarah Palin" and "TrooperGate". It's all there.

I never said, you said she was presidential material now did I? I ("you people") have not said anything about her children either so put the violin down and stop with the sob story.

Well, you were dumb enough to vote style over substance soooooo, anythings possible.

Besides she didn't quit. She stepped down for the good of her state. Stepped down with one of the highest approval ratings of any governor in history. I would say those in Alaska would look very seriously at voting her in as senator.

Do you actually have a clue as to what you're talking about, or do you just sling shit also, ZONA?

Since his prime time address to Congress last week, it seems President Obama is everywhere. He did a 60 Minutes interview last weekend and will appear on five Sunday shows -- ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC and Univision -- this weekend. On Monday he'll be the sole guest on the Late Show with David Letterman. He even made the celebrity/entertainment shows by calling Kanye West a jackass.

Barack Obama is ubiquitous. In his first six weeks in office, he's given an inaugural address, a State of the Union-like speech to a joint-session of Congress (since new presidents don't really report on the state of the union), and an hour-long press conference. He's also made several campaign trips and has been a daily fixture on magazine covers and the news shows. He's talking to us all the time.

Yes, he's an intriguing and appealing figure. But you don't have to go out on a limb to surmise that he may be risking overexposure -- which often leads to failure.

Ok, I'll try to talk slower.

Those "articles" are not facts. They are just the opinions of people who agree with you.

Do we really have to go over the whole "opinions are not equal to facts" concept again?

Not to mention neither article mentions anywhere the claim that "Obama is the most seen President ever". Did you even read the articles?

I wished i could find the article I saw that said that. But alas it's been over a month since I read it. And it's not worth my time. I know the truth, You may continue to deny it. As expected.

I left after I fulfilled my obligation. That isn't the case with Palin. Did you do 20? If not, you are being deliberately obtuse.

I want to go into primary care. The average salary is about $125-200 a year.

It's a respectable income, but not a key to being "filthy fucking rich".

BTW, I said I wanted to go into a job that "preserved life". I was talking about human life. Not whale life. Only in health care do you do that.

Obama needs to stay in his office and do his damn job. Maybe then, he might actually become effective. Once again, he's back out on the campaign trail for Reid. Reid's toast, Obama's got more important things to deal with then trying to save that losers campaign. And it would be nice if he saved the taxpayers some money, and quits flying that damn plane all over the friggin' place trying to drum up support for losing causes.
