George Will: Palin would lose 44 states if she ran for President

washingtonpost.com

Sarah Palin, who with 17 months remaining in her single term as Alaska's governor quit the only serious office she has ever held, is obsessively discussed as a possible candidate in 2012. Why? She is not going to be president and will not be the Republican nominee unless the party wants to lose at least 44 states

Yes and George Will is nothing more than one of those Republican White guy country club stuffed shirts, that hardly anybody pays attention to anymore. He is for the complete withdrawal from Afghanistan now, turning off many in his party so he has to write something now that someone will actually read. If he wants to be read he has to write about Palin- ridiculous. :cuckoo::cuckoo:

...It's all part of the VAST ANTI-PALIN CONSPIRACY!!!!!

Plenty of people read George Will, with or without Palin.

I'm sorry, I was referring to all the left who is so hung up on Sarah Palin on this board and in the media in General. George Will would be one of those who understands she is not presidential material at the moment at least.

I'm pretty sure that George Will knows that she will never be Presidential material.

Personally, I like her positions. I her politics. Most of them anyway. The problem is that she cannot articulate what her positions are. She could not articulate what the office she was seeking entailed. That is my problem. Politics is 80% perception. Maybe she isn't the dumbass that I truly believe her to be, but she sure does come off as one, you betcha.

I don't think she is any type of dumbass, I actually believe if she would have went after a Senate seat she would look pretty good for a 2016 run, depending on what happens in 2012. But right now she just wouldn't cut it.

SHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhh.........

You're giving away the plan.

Let the "wing-nuts" run around chasing their tails and barking up the Palin Tree if it pleases them. It makes an even better distraction for them than giving them shiny objects to play with until 2012.

Its a shame...

George Will represents the last of the intellectual Conservatives.

He has been replaced by Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Shaun Hannity, Ann Coulter and a hundred other clones

The most intelligent thing that assmunch has written in quite a while.

Utah wouldn't vote for her because they hate it when white Christian fundies steal the Mormon practice of giving their kids funny names.
Yeah, some funny names like Sasha and Malia, eh?

Christ, liberals are fucking idiots!:cuckoo:

Obama's children:
Malia was born in 1998. 653th most common name that year.
Sasha was born in 2001. 424th most common name that year.

Palin's children:
Track was born in 1989. Not in the top 1000 that year.
Bristol was born in 1990. Not in the top 1000 that year.
Willow was born in 1994. Not in the top 1000 that year.
Piper was born in 2001. 411th most common name that year.
Trig was born in 2008. Not in the top 1000 that year.

You were saying?

She cannot articulate them because she has no position unless somebody tells her what it is at any particular moment but mainly because she is completely uninformed. All she knows are the populist catch-phrases and headlines.

If the election were held today and the fact that Obama hasn't accomplished anything that has benefited the United States and Palin was a candidate against him, she would defeat him in a landslide like the Reagan/Mondale election of 1984. You people under estimate this woman.
