Just listen to them make fun of states which have no ties to LA, Chicago, NYC, Miami, etc. Listen to them whine about the stupidity of the majority of Americans. The Rich are already paying most of the tax burden... Sure you can raise their rates and squeeze them for a bit more; but once that's done, there is NO WHERE they can go to get the TRILLIONS of dollars that they're telling you they intend to spend... In the mean time, you sit around 'feeling' that you're going to be the recipient of all that 'fairness,' wholly ignorant of the certainty that you're going to be the ones PAYING UP...

Its good to have resources to help people who need it when they need it, but calling them stupid for needing help after a major natural disater.... that's just plain unfair and mean spirited.

I grew up with "rednecks" in a small, rural town in Texas. They have their own kind of intelligence, which is completely different than the kind a person with a college education has.

We need to quit thinking of one type of intelligence as being better then another, and realize that all kinds are necessary to propel our society forward.

He doesn't and neither do I, but that doesn't mean we can't be advocates for the traditional American majority. He's right about Palin, of course. Voters are going to react more to the Palin reaction from Hollywood than the woman herself, and that will be good for the McCain ticket.
