Nobody is bashing George HW Bush. It's seeing the custom painted train to deliver his casket to the burial place. That would cost a pretty penny. The only thing missing was the stopping at more cities and towns to place his coffin in a horse drawn carriage and have a parade. I'm not sure who pays for a presidential library, but think it's part taxpayers and part private donations. It does make him look like an important president. Obama's library may end up costing the most of any president and he was one of the worst presidents. Is he going to have a train ride funeral and horse carriage now?
