George Bush

we all know how long you assholes blame things on past presidents.

stop pretending you dont do it.

Its fine to blame who really did something because they deseerve the blame.

Bush crashed the world economy and lied us into war and then put the cost of those wars on the credit card.

That is his legacy

like YOU dont?...........your no different then those you are talking about....

Why are we still discussing him on a daily basis and do you think 4 years after Obama leaves office, we will still be discussing him every day too?

My view is there are some who miss their favorite Republican whipping boy. BDS and all.

Seriously if more American voters actually were as critical of their "own guy" as they are of the "other guy" we might actually see some real change and lots of hope. Not happening enough to affect change imo.
if more Americans were like this we would have a viable 3rd Party......but those Americans your talking about.....they say if they actually vote for someone else.....they are "wasting" their vote....so until they get over this fear they have.....3 years from now they will be here bitching about the same old shit....

Why are we still discussing him on a daily basis…

He presided over a pivotal 8 years of American history – he managed to squander a budget surplus and create a massive deficit, start two illegal wars, and expanded the size and power of the government, all the while claiming to be a ‘conservative.’

It is also likely that the fiscal policies practiced by the Bush Administration contributed to the December 2007 Recession, the worst economic collapse since the Great Depression.

Historians will be examining this disaster of a presidency for decades to come.
…do you think 4 years after Obama leaves office, we will still be discussing him every day too?

Conservatives certainly will; they’re still whining about FDR.

I don't know how to get idiots like you to fu...king comprehend these REALITIES!
Except Make it big because YOU are NOT living in an alternate world where THE following events DIDN'T happen! THEY DID!!!

1.) Dot.com bust cost $5 trillion in lost market value.. this means every year for 30 years now starting in 2000 the federal revenue is less then $166 billion written off against income taxes??? Was that Bush's fault?
How many people LOST jobs due to the bust??
According to the Los Angeles Times, when the dot-com bubble burst, it wiped out $5 trillion dollars in market value for tech companies. More than half of the Internet companies created since 1995 were gone by 2004 -
and hundreds of thousands of skilled technology workers were out of jobs.
The dot-com bubble: How to lose $5 trillion – Anderson Cooper 360 - CNN.com Blogs

2) Did YOU forget that 9/11 occurred and it cost $2 trillion over the next 30 years again $66 billion will NOT BE PAiD.. was that Bush's fault?
Jobs lost in New York owing to the attacks: 146,100 JUST in New York!!
9. Year 2001: September 11 Terrorist Attacks
The 9/11 terrorist attacks were the events that helped shape other financial events of the decade. After that terrible day in September 2001, our economic climate was never to be the same again. It was only the third time in history that the New York Stock Exchange was shut down for a period of time. In this case, it was closed from September 10 - 17. Besides the tragic human loss of that day, the economic loss cannot even be estimated.

Some estimate that there was over $60 billion in insurance losses alone.
Approximately 18,000 small businesses were either displaced or destroyed in Lower Manhattan after the Twin Towers fell. There was a buildup in homeland security on all levels.
9/11 caused a catastrophic financial loss for the U.S.
The Top 10 Financial Events of the Decade

3) $1 trillion in written off losses due to the WORST Hurricane SEASONS in history!

The worst Katrina?? made landfall in Louisiana as a Category 3 in 2005. It took 1,836 lives and caused $81.2 billion in damages. Andrew slammed into South Florida in 1992 as a Category 5. It caused 40 deaths and $30 billion in property damage. More than 250,000 people were left homeless and 82,000 businesses were destroyed or damaged.
Hurricane Katrina ALONE!
Year 2005: Hurricanes Katrina and Rita
On August 25, 2005, Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast of the U.S. as a strong Category 3 or low Category 4 storm. It quickly became the biggest natural disaster in U.S. history, almost destroying New Orleans due to severe flooding.

Hurricane Rita quickly followed Katrina only to make matters worse. Between the two, more than $200 billion in damage was done. 400,000 jobs were lost and 275,000 homes were destroyed. Many of the jobs and homes were never to be recovered. Hundreds of thousands of people were displaced and over 1,000 were killed and more are missing. The effect on oil and gasoline prices was long-lasting.

400,000 jobs due to Hurricanes Katrina/Rita
145,000 jobs in NYC alone due to 9/11
300,000 jobs lost due to dot.com busts.

Almost 1 million jobs alone from those 3 events AND Obama cries about Tropical storm Isaac?????

DO YOU understand NONE of that was Bush's fault!
$266 billion a year in LOST federal revenue! DO YOU understand and NOT one dollar the fault of Bush!

So I guess I have to put the FACTS that the $8 trillion in losses from the dot.com bust, 9/11 and worst hurricane SEASONS in history in BIGGER fonts??

Isn't there ANYONE that can refute the FACTS that IN spite of the above LOSSES that cost the Federal government $266 billion a year in tax REVENUE AND under Bush,

Total people employed when Bush took office
2001 - There were 131,826,000!
Total people employed when Bush Left office
2008 - There were 136,790,000!

Almost 5 million more then when he started!

GDP when Bush took office
2001 $12.355,271,000,000
GDP when Bush left office
2008 $14,359,490,000,000

A 16% increase in GDP or $2,004.22 billion!

Bush crashed the world economy.

that will forever be the facts of his adminstration.

when was the last time someone told you to NEVER mention Carter again?

I almost feel sorry for your inability to exercise any critical thinking skills.

Okay, we need a volunteer to explain critical to her. Anyone?...anyone?...Bueller?...

Not if his replacement is a person that accepts responsibility for his job. The Boooooooosh shit gets so old.

That should be the first question that Mitt Romney asks Obama at the first debate. "Mr. President, for almost four years, you have been blaming George Bush, for the dismal state of our nation If reelected, who will you blame your failures on? At what point, if ever, do you take responsibility for the state of the nation?"

Wow! George Bush crashed the whole world economy, all by himself. Your thought processes must be a wonder to marvel at. But, you inane logic hits a brick wall.

If George Bush, dumb as he is, could crash the whole world economy, in two years, then Barrack Obama, smart as he is, should have been able to fix it in four years. Right?

BTW, the wars are still on the credit card, and Obama is still lying about the wars. The banks are still too big to fail (even bigger), and the economy is bouncing along the bottom. Now, that is a legacy, and you want to reelect the ass.

Hell. We need a volunteer to explain to the flamming idiot that it took both parties to crash the economy. It didn't happen overnight and her Dems are as guilty as the Reps. They all spend like drunken sailors.

Of course the truth hurts when you think your side are saints and the party of the people. What a fucking joke.

Why are we still discussing him on a daily basis and do you think 4 years after Obama leaves office, we will still be discussing him every day too?

Because, compared to Obama, he was actually not our worst President as far as policy and said policies' negative impact on the future of the country goes

Why are we still discussing him on a daily basis and do you think 4 years after Obama leaves office, we will still be discussing him every day too?

Because the hard core libtards Obama supporters refuse to allow Obama to accept ANY responsibility for anything negative, and insist on blaming Bush so as not to sully the good name Obama.

C'mon, you can do better than that.

The rightyloons will if things are still bad. The leftytoons will be like Obama who? It's Bush's fault.

I don't need to do better than the plain and simple truth.

YO!! Everyone... DID these events happen to you or are you just ignoring the FACTS?

1) The dot.com bust happened. It cost $5 trillion! That means the Federal taxable revenue did NOT Get $166 billion a year starting 2002. It costs 100,000s of jobs, meaning no Federal Medicare/SS payments!
2) 9/11 Occurred. It cost $2 trillion. 100,000s of jobs.. meaning no Medicare/SS payments. Annual tax loss write off $66 billion!
3) Worst hurricane SEASONS!! Cost $1 trillion in losses.. $33 billion in tax writeoffs and 100,000s of jobs... Loss Medicare/SS payments!

We'll any of you have the intellectual integrity to admit they happened? And when they happened they cost Federal tax revenue of $266 billion a year!

We'll any of you admit that in spite of not having $266 billion a year coming in AND with loans to businesses, airlines (remember didn't fly for 3 days!) flood loans, assistance... then Homeland security costs $600 billion... The Liberation of Iraq took longer because traitors ENcOURAGED terrorists to kill US troops.. another $600 billion.. but NONE of you have that intellectual integrity that historians will have when they acknowledge in spite of events

NO other president had to face Bush economy moved forward. 16% gain from 2001 to 2008. More people were working in 2008 then 2001!
FACTS..

Here you go, folks. I'm tired of seeing wing nuts on the right invoke Bush to try to make their points, but when someone on the left does it the response is "BOOOOOSH!" Either fuck me or don't fuck me already. I'm tired of the hand jobs.
