Their attitude towards motherhood is very, very wise. I've long maintained that the American attitude towards creating "superwomen" who want a full-time career and be mothers is a bit of a conflict. Pick one or the other. By the time women achieve a decent career with a high enough income, they often find that they're now too old to get pregnant. Unfortunately, the cost of living in decent areas and home ownership is so high in the US, that dual-incomes are necessary.

I'm a big fan of bento boxes. I just love that.

I even think that turning over the finances to the wife is smart.
