Arab tyrants have been overthrown in Egypt, Libya, Yemen, Tunisia and, hopefully soon, Syria. Once Hamas is overthrown in Gaza, Israel will be thanked by them. Why is there a delay in the ground invasion?

A poll taken by Panels for the Israeli Center for Political Training found that 85 percent of Israelis believe embarking on the operation was the correct decision. But when asked what should happen next, 45% said to continue air strikes, 22% said to seek a cease-fire and just 25% recommended a ground offensive.

A Dialog poll taken for Haaretz had similar results, with 84% supporting the operation, 39% saying it should be continued by air, 19% calling for an immediate cease-fire and 30% backing a ground operation.

Polls: Huge support for operation... JPost - Diplomacy & Politics

Imo, Netanyahu will wait until he has well over 50% support for a ground invasion.

Palestinians see what kind of support Hamas is receiving.
Counterparts in West-Bank are marginalized, big-money Arabs like Qatari Sheik didn't visit Abbas.

Hamas being "overthrown" is something that will only happen in your phantasy.

Nowadays Hamas gets support from Ankara, Cairo, Doha to Teheran, a welcome guest in those capitals.
Get used to it, and that's why I said, that "overthrowing" Hamas will stay a phantasy.

What is being supported is the Gazan people and its legitimate (by election) representatives, which is the Hamas.

Egypt now has a democratically elected government and off course they should support democratically eleted government in Gaza.
And they do.

Now, what is more likely? Hamas getting "overthrown" or Palestinians in West-Bank thinking about the kind of support the brothers in Gaza receive from all key countries in the region?

After Hamas' election USA&Israel tried to delegitimize elections in Gaza.
Region has legitimized it, and now Israel has to do "cease-fire" with them.
Overall things move in the right direction.

Nonsense. Hamas' term in office expired in 2009, and they have refused all efforts to allow new elections since then, so they have no basis for claiming legitimacy and hold power only because they have more guns than anyone else in Gaza. For all this boasting about Qatari money and Erdogan back slaps, it is still Abbas who is paying all the government salaries in Gaza and for all the electricity and for all the medical care Gazans receive in Israel.

ekrem does raise a very important point------he does know the jihadist mind.

LOVE in the minds of ass lickers of al nabi respecters of Isa DOES

Gaza's GDP is 700 million $.

Qatar gave Gaza government 400 million $.
Turkey gave 300 million $.

Who knows who else is paying what... like the Iranians.

So, you're sure that Abbas is paying salaries of Gaza government?

Yes. The Qatari gift is all targeted at specific construction projects and will not provide the Hamas regime with any discretionary money. This is necessary since Hamas in a designated terrorist organization and there are stiff penalties for providing aid directly to it. I don't have any information about the Turkish gift, but I suspect it is similarly designated for specific projects because otherwise, Turkish financial institutions that participated in the transfer would be subject to penalties for aiding a terrorist organization. Iran had been giving Hamas and estimated $300 million a year, but cut back in 2011 because of the effects of the sanctions, and is now probably contributing little or nothing.

On the other hand, Israel collects and transfers to the Abbas government about $1.2 billion a year in income and customs taxes, the EU provides another $600 million, and Abbas government is the recipient of all other bilateral aid including that from individual European countries as well as the US, Canada, Japan and Saudi Arabia. All told, despite the gifts you mention, Hamas probably has less money available for salaries and other expenses than it did a few years ago when Iran was transferring discretionary funds to it. If Abbas weren't paying for government salaries and electricity, it is likely the people in Gaza would just have to do without.

Indeed, hamas gets sackloads of words there, especially from that domestic loser Erdogan, the regional king-bullshitter, of course.

No question------modern day middle east including Iran harkens back to charlie
chaplain's masterpiece movie THE GREAT DICTATOR staring ERDOGAN and co starring
---as an ENSEMBLE----- Ahmadinejad, Bashir, and Morsey et al.
but charlie's original cast did cause lots of trouble
