Gaza Economy Collapsing

Once Hamas leaves, Israel will, of course, allow Gazans full freedom of movement and allow them to fully govern themselves. Exactly how it was for the nearly 60 years before Hamas came into power. Right?
Catch the fucking clue, dickhead, who Gazans choose as their government, is none of Israel's god-damn business!
Indeed, the Palestinians have nothing to say about the assholes that the Israelis elect.

According to a World Bank study, Gaza's economy has been crippled by soaring unemployment, border restrictions imposed by Egypt and Israel, government dysfunction and perhaps most importantly, a shortage of international aid. Once again those hapless Arab "refugees" have been betrayed by their own poor choices ... in this case, Hamas:

"Infighting between Gaza’s Islamist Hamas rulers and the Western-backed Palestinian Authority president, Mahmoud Abbas, the report said, is delaying reconstruction of the tiny territory, which suffered widespread damage during the war."

http://www.nytimes.com/2015/05/23/w...omy-on-verge-of-collapse-world-bank-says.html
The illegal and immoral blockade, is the reason their economy is suffering.

Well golly gee, I wonder why a blockade would be needed against the noble peace loving, life loving Palestinians under Hamas rule.
Gaza was under blockade before Hamas was elected.

Want to try again as the evidence says hamas won the elections in 2006 and the blockade went on in 2007. Why do you LIE when the evidence is so easy to find

Does this mean that what Israel does is none of your god damn business either ? So why do you go out of your way to make it your business ?

At the same neither do you, yet you seem to be the atypical American big mouth that thinks you own the world and can tell it what to do.

Hamas won't leave until the next gang of Pali-thugs is strong enough to push them out.

Beginning with the Muslim Bro-hood (with whom Hamas identifies) there has been an endless parade of them just dying to oppress, abuse and extort those hapless Arab "refugees."

That's just how their society is organized.

Because Tinny is a soulless Pali propagandist who is aware of the truth but ignores it when it doesn't serve his agenda (which is pretty much all the time).

His hope is to fool the uninformed but fortunately (or unfortunately for the propagandist) the truth is easily and readily available, exposing him for the lying slime all have long known him to be.

"Hamas seized control of Gaza in June in a brief war, routing the rival Western-backed forces of Fatah...

After the takeover, Israel sealed its border crossings with Gaza, on the grounds that the Fatah forces had fled and were no longer providing security on the other side. Israel, like the United States and the European Union, lists Hamas as a terrorist group and will not deal with it."

Well, the propaganda is one thing and facts are another. It's the old blow back, the U.S. seems to make the same mistakes over and over again. With the Hamas election win, the U.S. instigated a coup by Fatah. It didn't work.

The report said that instead of driving its enemies out of power, the US-backed Fatah fighters inadvertently provoked Hamas to seize total control of the Gaza Strip in June 2007. David Wurmser, who resigned as Vice President Dick Cheney's chief Middle East adviser a month after the Hamas takeover, said he believed that Hamas had no intention of taking over the Gaza Strip until Fatah forced its hand. "It looks to me that what happened wasn't so much a coup by Hamas but an attempted coup by Fatah that was preempted before it could happen,"

It's both convenient and stereotypical for the Islamic terrorist supporters to deflect the motivations for Islamic terrorism onto the Great Satan but those deflections are easily shown to be cheap excuses.

The civil war that the Islamic terrorists of Hamas waged with the islamic terrorists of Fatah was for the purpose of fulfilling the goals of the Hamas Charter. The Islamic terrorist huggers would like to sidestep around that issue but the Hamas Charter is simply an expression of fundamentalist Islamist ideology.

The Avalon Project : Hamas Covenant 1988

"Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it" (The Martyr, Imam Hassan al-Banna, of blessed memory).

How Did Hamas Take Control of the Gaza Strip?

In spite of Hamas’ electoral victory, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, leader of Fatah, initially refused to surrender control of the government to his party’s rival. A round of assassinations of members of both parties followed, and soon the violence extended into the streets. One Palestinian rights group estimates that more than 600 Palestinians were killed during the factional fighting. By mid-2007, Hamas had taken complete control over Gaza, successfully beating down Fatah forces and compelling Abbas to relocate to the West Bank.

The Islamic Resistance Movements (HAMAS) was elected in Jan '06; next year it will be a decade.

The Blockade was put into effect in Jan '09, three years after the election. The Notice to Mariners is clear.

Why is a 2009 notice of blockade copyrighted 2015?

Israel had declared the Gaza territorial sea restricted before they removed the settlements from Gaza and after. A blockade in the form of restricting navigation has always been in place.

montelatici, et al,

Without regard to the initial point, the question still remains: It is prudent to lift the imposed containment restrictions.

(COMMENT)

The Arab Palestinians have a long established history of criminal behaviors.

  • In what world do you rationalize unrestrained freedom for a culture of people that collective pose a threat to the Region?
  • What do you do with a culture of people that directly advocate Islamic Jihad?

The Palestinians needs to clean-up their culture, their morals and the ethics they practice.

"Palestinians with a choice of remaining at war with Israel or remaining at war with each other. Israel's distaste for Hamas is understandable, but it remains a political reality that cannot be wished away or boycotted out of existence. In any case, it is hard to see how a divided and dysfunctional Palestinian entity would be able to make peace, much less enforce the terms of any future deal." SOURCE: Brookings Institute 25 04 14

Palestinians with a choice of remaining at war with Israel

It is Israel's war. The Palestinians never wanted it. They were at home minding their own business when attacked by foreigners.

Arab Palestinians have behaved as all people under foreign domination have behaved. Nothing criminal about it.

It is the Israelis that have to atone for their long established murderous and criminal behavior. From their neocolonialism and their subjugation of people based on religion.

The Palestinians pose no more threat to the region than any other colonized people in the respective regions where colonialism was practiced.

The European colonizers and their descendants are what have posed a threat to the region.
