In 10 states plus the District of Columbia, a majority of residents approved of the job Barack Obama was doing as president last year, according to aggregated data from 2011. His greatest support came from District of Columbia, Maryland, and Hawaii residents, while Utah and Idaho residents gave him his lowest levels of support -- below 30%.

Obama Approval Above 50% in 10 States and D.C. in 2011

Even i'm a bit surprised it's only 10 States that approve. Not a good sign for Democrats.

Every single state that's in play, Obama won last time.

Give me ONE reason why Romney would win in ANY of them?
Answer: He won't.

Whatever, Romney and Obama are essentially tied in most places, and Obama's numbers are steadily improving over the last couple of months.

And that's right after all the attention the Republican candidates have been getting after a ridiculous amount of debates and press coverage in their primary.

Which means, essentially, that, since Obama's foreign policy numbers are quite good: as long as the economy keeps improving, which it shows every sign of doing, Obama will win.

Especially if Romney continues his "Let them eat cake" philosophy into the general election cycle.
