I think the post reflects that he is trending down from a high of 78%. Favorable ratings on his policies are much lower on the economy--deficits & budget.

The gap reflects how people like him as a person which is 58%--when one asks about specific policies he is getting lower ratings. In fact he is in the negative on the deficit right now. Americans do not approve of this deficit & all this spending.

This is not surprising. Obama was elected for all of the wrong reasons. Between the illiterate welfare society which was conned into seeing the second coming of a monthly check in him, the others who fell for all the smoke and mirrors and then the simple minded party line voters, well what else could we expect, now that all of those hopes are slowly being shattered.
