hummmm....this was before the Q2 GDP number too. It appears, appears mind you that like stretches in the Obama care debate, his exposure may not be helping him, the reverse perhaps.

He was 46/46 gallup just a week ago, now hes 40/50. Something is going on.

*Full disclosure- I have always stood by Rasmussen, they have the better overall record and use the LV vs. A ( anonymous polling sampling). However due to partisan vitriol as to their being in the tank, I have featured Gallup. Careful what you wish for people. ;)

I don't put much stock in media polls either. So, personally, I see him at 43% splitting the difference between the 2, though that -10 from gallup is definitely an outlier and perhaps speaks to a real shit which Rasmussen has documented for quite a while as to disapproval.

I am suprised it's that high, the dems better think about a primary challenge, Kennedy challenged Carter , Carter won but Reagan beat him so bad that Reagan won before they could close the polls in California. I do believe he is going to be creamed by whoever runs against him. If it comes down to voting for an orange juice can or Obama, my vote goes to the orange juice can. This guy is worse than Carter.

Umm that was congress not just the dems in congress.

I do expect that the dems approval figure in congress is similar to the repubs though.

Umm the poll I looked at just talked of republicans in congress's approval rating dated 7-24 a pew poll.

Hello!

what does the approval of congress have to do with this? congress isn't running for President. of course their numbers are low,,,THEY CAN'T PASS ANYTHING URGENT !!! like with Health-Care,Bush Taxes,,and now the Debt!!!! there will always be fighting and delays when Trillions are at stake....GOD,,,,I can't take much more of those flamers like Chuck Schumer and DICKhead Durbin !!!! maybe those two should get married,,they make such a pretty couple.
