Gallup: Obama Approval 39%. There is only one way a democrat could win in 2012...

The only thing that gives Obama a chance in this upcoming election is the main stream media he still has in his back pocket. They didn't vet him the last time around...which is why we now have a Chief Executive who's run out of ideas two years into his first term...and they will bend over backwards to support him this time...despite his record.

Bottom line is this however...instead of standing on a debate stage and talking vaguely about abstract concepts like "Hope" and "Change You Can Believe In" or "Win the Future"...he's going to be asked to defend an ACTUAL record and folks...that record is pretty gawd awful...and by all indications won't be getting any better over the next year. He's one heck of a speaker but you can only shovel so much bull shit before people's noses start to wrinkle up in recognition.

The MSM that keeps reporting on his poor approval ratings and how he's losing support among his base? The same MSM that gives Republicans a free pass when it comes to the tough questions? Yep, he's go them in his back pocket alright. :cuckoo:

With prominent democrats caving in on Obama--Criss Mathews--Obama's biggest cheerleader--doing a couple of Crazy Ivan's on Obama in the last couple of weeks--plus Steve Wynn's--CEO of Wynn's casino--basically hanging signs all over LV--fire Obama and I'll hire 10,000 people tomorrow--and now with him breaking below 40%--this guy doesn't stand a snow-balls chance in hell of winning re-election. Why? Americans ALWAYS vote their wallets--regardless of what the media does.

...and that's if Obama drops out.

Gallup: Obama job rating sinks below 40% for first time - latimes.com

gonna be a walk in the park for whoever the GOP nomination is.
Gallop as of August 15, 2011 is reporting Obama approval rating as 41%.

First time every, I was called by Gallop to participate in a poll on Saturday. They asked the approval rating question as well as who you would vote for if the opposition candidate was Romney, Bachmann, or Perry. I haven't see this in the media yet.

I don't think he is fooling too many people any more, it's now termed " The change you CAN'T believe In, and our only "hope" is that you are gone in 15 months." the only people who are still Obama nuts are the ones left on this board. The Gop candidate could write a book on the Obama socialism experiment, how he blew himself up,and his total failures as a President. Beleive me there are many. There won't be a debate long enough to bring it all out.

I don't think Bush racked this record of failure up in the eight years he was in. Congratulations Obama you got er done in a little under three. I wonder if Obama knows who Jimmy Carter is, if I were him I would be calling Carter to see if he has any more housing projects going on down in Mexico and see if he needs some help. He will be available soon to go and pound some nails.

I think Obama is in trouble. But the election is likely to be a dogfight. The Iowa Electronics Market has the election in a dead heat, just like the RCP polls. But when you start naming candidates, Republican support falls. Doesn't mean they won't win but it does mean that hubris is the enemy of those who think Obama will certainly lose.

It's also important that the candidates will never look better than they do right now.

Obama isn't campainging, they are. All of obama's faults are known, there's aren't.

as time goes on, as they candidates begin to display the crazy, people will begin to sour on them even more.

on the other hand, if the economy improves - as it has been - and people begin to feel more hopeful about the future obama will only look better and better.

now truthfully if things worsen the opposite could happen, but i don't think that's very likely.

Obama isn't campaigning? WTF do you think he's doing touring around MN in a bus?
The economy is not improving, s0n. It's getting worse. You need to get your head out of your KOS.

Once people start paying attention to the canddiates and what they stand for Obama is toast. Hell, he's toast already.
