Police deaths are down. For 4 reasons:
1. Vests. Pre 1990s vests were rare. Now everyone has one.
2. Better tactics. Cops are trained better.
3. Trauma care is drastically better now than 25 years ago
4. FAR less interaction between cops and thugs. Same reason fewer people are stung by jellyfish in winter....cuz they ain't swimning.

Good point. I was VERY abusive to my AR-15 today. I called him a black asshole and slapped him, spit on him and locked his black ass in a closet. He didn't shoot me. He's so nice.
