Future of Obamacare, Patients Left Without Care

All kidding aside, this is a concern. Wondering what might be happening to alleviate this.

And how are Republicans going to reduce our cost of health care.

Health care should be a system that everyone contributes a certain cost to, much the same as auto insurance. Everyone has a basic plan that will provide the very basic health check-up coverage they need, additional coverage costs will be added when you reach a certain age where those tests are more prevalent. A one size fits all Cadillac plan, where even men find coverage to see an obstetrician, does not work. You should be free to get as much needed insurance as you feel necessary, however you should be required to pay a certain additional cost in your premiums to cover the tests that are to be used. For those at high risk from certain health issues, they will be placed in a risk pool where they are among those patients (who may at some point require such tests) draw from. Options, levels of care, and patient decisions OVER government induced choices that are forced upon them, are the best way to go.

Nice example of shackles.

It's a lot less restrictive than the proposals offered by any democrats, let's see if you are capable of offering a better detailed explaination of an alternative with your response. I'm open to seeing how you'd tackle the issue of choice with reducing health care costs

But, I thought I could keep my doctor if I liked him/her.

Bummer.

Better to have a doctor than none at all. Even Spicer said he can't promise that. Do you think you'd keep your doctor with the Rep plan, no I doubt it. Never get attached to your doctor, they change networks, die, move or retire.

Which issue? What are you referring to with "the issue of choice with reducing health care costs"? The biggest impediment to any kind of sane health care policy reform is that we have no consensus on what the problem is. We can't agree on a solution if we can't agree on which problems we're trying to solve. Some people think the problem is simply health care inflation - the market is broken. Others think that it's an affront to humanity that anyone has to pay for health care.

Are you always so prone to talk about things you don't know about.

Spicer was talking about Trumpcare......at least they are being honest about it.

I won't be getting Trumpcare.....I'll be keeping my doctor...the same one I have had for decades.

Except it does already.....look at the Singapore model.

It's pretty good.

So when it comes to offering ideas that can lead towards a possible solution, beyond just mere criticism you bloviate and offer nothing constructive. More a sideline observer than one that can engage on the issue.

You're dodging. My question is a necessary clarification. We can't work together to solve a problem unless we first agree on what the problem is.

I'm not the one who is dodging beyond mere criticism. I offered a suggestion response on how we may begin to tackle cuts and quality care by offering a basic structure, you called that "shackling", so I offered you the chance to begin discussion by offering your alternative of how you would begin a structured plan. As everyone could see from your following reply, you offered excuses over how you would begin your approach engage and tackling the issue. I'm not surprised when your critism is called out, that this is the direction you would take.

My alternative begins with coming to a consensus on what problem we're trying to solve. The core dysfunction of ACA is that nobody - including you, apparently - has any clarity on what problem(s) it's trying to solve. That has to be the first decision because the solutions we choose will be different based on what problems we're trying to solve. I spelled that out above, but you don't seem to see why it's important.

As everyone could see from your following reply, you offered excuses over how you would begin your approach engage and tackling the issue. I'm not surprised when your critism is called out, that this is the direction you would take.

You're fixating on making this a personal 'fight'. I'm trying to discuss the problem. Feel free to join me.

Delicious irony: Liberal writers may strike over Obamacare insurance costs
By Rick Moran

What is best in life?

Conan the Barbarian: "Crush your enemies. See them driven before you. Hear the lamentations of their women."

Arnie might have added: "Schadenfreude's a bitch, ain't it?"

Liberal Hollywood writers are close to striking, partly over the skyrocketing costs of their health insurance. What makes this so deliciously ironic is that, during the debate over health insurance, the writers inserted the politics of Obamacare into many of the most popular shows on TV. They did their best to promote Obamacare and are now reaping their just rewards.

Breitbart:

The only patients who will be left without care are those who qualify for the $0 essentials plan, which covers 100% of everything at zero cost. Those with pre-existing conditions would still find a way to get coverage.
