I can't say there will be a full scale attack this year, but we will definately have one by 2009. If you haven't notice they always attack us right after the Presidency changes. So id say if we dont have another one during the Bush administration, there will be one quickly after the next President takes over.

A simple breakdown reveals we are lucky they so far have gone after symbolic targets and not strategic ones. WTC = symbol of the US's financial power. Pentagon = symbol of the US's military might. White House (allegedly where Flight 93 was heading) = symbol of arguably the most powerful man on Earth.

If they choose to go after strategic targets (water supplies, nuclear reactors, food supplies, oil refineries and distribution, etc) we can just stand by. We're so unprotected and oblivious all we'll be able to do is clean up afterward.

That is a disturbing thought. Of course, since we have a federal system that simply means the State governments would retain control until we could have a new election... atleast assuming there arent massive retaliatory attacks at that time. There would be total pandamoniam then.... If such a thing happened I have no doubt there would be civil war almost instantaneously.
