Fruedian slip or Alzheimers?

Getting kind of desperate, ol' boy?

Health Care passed. Education finance reform, passed.

Next, financial and bank regulations to prevent another meltdown. Then Cap and Trade, prior to outright carbon tax.

Then we revisit Health Care, make it universal, and give all of you wingnut Conservatives a life time supply of Vallium.

(This is Hank Johnson, a Democrat member of the House of Representatives, not a Senator.) But this IS PROOF positive of just how corrupt our media really is. Every one of you liberals go ahead and try to convince me that if Sarah Palin had uttered this IDIOCY, even though holding NO public office of any kind -that the media would not have made her the butt of every joke for the next decade. The fact this has NOT been treated with the same kind of response has only one of two possible responses -and neither are complimentary to Democrats or liberals. (And do NOT bother with any lame excuses that this was some kind of joke -no one is laughing here. It was NOT an April fool's joke either -because this happened three days before that. THIS question was asked in dead seriousness -which means we should all be reassured his grasp of his other two concerns, the environment and global warming, are no doubt equally well founded and comprehended by this guy. And PLEASE -no pretense that the fact he has hepatitis C excuses this either. Hepatitis C does NOT cause such serious mental changes it makes a person believe that islands are floating around the ocean and at risk of capsizing! And let's get real here -even if the disease could cause those kind of mental aberrations as to unhinge one's own understanding of reality, it would mean this guy is unfit to serve at all -wouldn't it? This guy proved himself to be unfit to serve in office at all -no matter how you want to explain this IDIOCY away.)

There are only two possible explanations for why the media essentially ignores this:

1. The fact it is an elected Democrat exhibiting incredible STUPIDITY of this INCREDIBLE jaw dropping magnitude is not something that is unexpected among Democrats and liberals and therefore not worthy of any real response by the media.

2. Or our media, which the vast majority of people already know for a fact is so leftwing extremist as to be totally corrupt and in the back pocket of the left and made the deliberate decision to either totally ignore this or at best, give it the briefest of mere mentions while trying to also make excuses for the man. Even though everyone here knows for a FACT that if a Republican had said this, it would be front page headlines for the next month and the jokes would continue for the next ten years as "proof" of just how stupid conservatives were. Neither explanation does liberals any favor though. I'm going with this level of sheer ignorance and STUPIDITY isn't anything unusual for a liberal Democrat -AND that we have a corrupt leftwing extremist media.

Any time someone insists that government knows what is in your best interests and those in government should be trusted with spending YOUR money and setting the rules about how you must run your life even against your own better judgment -just play this video again and again until those who refuse to learn the lessons of history get it. Maybe alternate it with videos of the discoveries made at Nazi prison camps -between the two the idea of actually trusting those serving in government to better run your life than you can is undeniably false. Idiots, the corrupt and venal and/or megalomaniacs are attracted to serve in government and the very few exceptions to this never require changing your expectations or allowing those in government to lay claim to ever more powers -history has repeatedly proven that doing so will inevitably end up being hazardous to your health, if not your very existence. When you find yourself CHARMED by a gifted speaker, it should serve as an alert to keep an even sharper eye on government than ever before as those exposed to the corruption of power will use any and all means to strip you of ever more of YOUR rights so that those in government can lay claim to them instead.

And let's not delude ourselves here. This was not "health care reform" because it didn't accomplish ANY of the goals Democrats PRETENDED they wanted to achieve -or it would have actually included the measures KNOWN for a fact to reduce health care costs, reduce premiums or make health care more accessible. In fact all measures known to do any of these were specifically rejected -which means the real goals of Democrats was something totally different. And it sure as hell was not "education finance" reform -the government taking over yet another industry is not "reform" -it is the greater expansion of GOVERNMENT.

This bill was all about expanding the power and control of government over you. PERIOD. It was entirely about GOVERNMENT making sure that citizens must turn to GOVERNMENT for their "education" (political indoctrination), citizens must turn to government in order to even buy a home and now a bill has passed that once all legal challenges are done away with -insures that all citizens must turn to government for their health care. But SURE -which political party is actually in power at the time cannot possibly have any influence on how any of that is doled out to YOU, right? Just like it never did in the USSR or Cuba either.

Those who refuse to learn the lessons of history are doomed to repeat them. The proper response to what occurred with the passage of this bill that was rammed down the throats of the MAJORITY against their will and who STILL oppose it -is weeping.

A Freudian slip is saying out loud “I want to fuck my mother and kill my father”; Alzheimer’s is asking out loud to the cat “are you my mother or my father?”

So far there is no cure for either affliction.

Better to be forever Jung.
