From the outside looking in the response to Sandy doesn't look any different than

Staten Island isn't too happy with the president tonight.

Why would they be unhappy with the President, the logistics start a the local level, the city level, the state level and THEN the Federal level. So why blame Obama? Isn't their a "Staten Island Ray Negin"?

Surely you are correct especially when Nagin should have reacted more correctly than he did and of course the Left took him to task for the deaths of over 800 souls just as they did Gov. Blanco. Didn't they rather than lambaste Pres. Bush at the time? The question right now is where is the help from FEMA in the other places affected by the storm? Why is it that these people don't have shelter, food and at least clean clothes? Breezy Point is getting all the attention where smaller enclaves are being by-passed and totally ignores. If I remember correctly there was overkill of campers in NOLA after Katrina. Where are they now?

Also how many people were effected by Katrina? How many by sandy, fact is sandy hit the most populated area in the united states and more people out of power than double the amount of people effected by katrina

Anyone have an idea of how many missing there are? The media was big on playing up that number in Katrina.
