This formerly productive citizen, identified as Hobo Dave of Massachusetts, was an employee of the shuttered business seen here. The owners of the small business, the Obama socalled 1%, chose to close the business rather than deal with excessive taxation, burdensome regulation, and constant vilification from Washington.

that's just the most visable part, inflation has already started and will progressively get worse due to Maobamas monetary policies. That's the hidden tax of this regime and no one is exempt.

If Republican policies are so awesome then red states would have the richest citizens, the lowest unemployment, the lowest poverty and the lowest deficits over the last thirty years, they have not, just like Romney has failed to make the case of how he would be the miraculous improvement over Obama he claims to be.

How is any of that Obama's fault? That's their problem and failure not any President's problem. I guess that the people of Massachusetts agree!

"Improvement over Obama"?

That's a pretty damn low threshold LOL.

Maybe, you would think a guy like Romney could beat such a horrible president with his hands tied behind his back, did you think he could actually rise above his image? The GOP gave you all a lousy candidate but I am not sure any of the primary challengers could have done better.

Let's look at how liberal policies are working in California, shall we?

2011 total: 254 companies leave California | moved, companie - Business - The Orange County Register
In 2011, 254 California companies moved some or all of their work and jobs out of state, 26% more than in 2010, according to Irvine business consultant Joe Vranich who has been tracking these departures since 2009.

--

The pace is accelerating, Vranich said. An average of 4.9 businesses left California each week of 2011, compared to 3.9 per week (202 total) in 2010 and one a week (51 total) in 2009.

--

For all California departures, the top destinations were Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada and a tie for Utah and Florida, Vranich said.

All red states. Things that make you go "Hmmm..."

So, it looks like liberals simply aren't business-friendly. Let's look at how they treat people, shall we?

California demographic shift: More people leaving than moving in - Los Angeles Times
California demographic shift: More people leaving than moving in

More people are moving out of the state than are moving in. It's the economy, of course, especially housing costs.

Recent census figures show the state is losing more Californians like McCluer than it is attracting from other parts of the U.S. And the trend toward out-migration is looking less like a blip than a long-term condition.

The proportion of Californians who had moved here from out of state reached a 100-year low of about 20% in 2010, and the decade measured by the most recent census was the first in a century in which the majority of Californians were native-born.

The demographics of California today more closely resemble those of 1900 than of 1950: It is a mostly home-grown population, whose future depends on the children of immigrants and their children, said William Frey, a demographer and senior fellow at the Brookings Institution.

--

Experts point to various causes of the turnaround, most of them rooted in a flagging economy. But exorbitant housing prices — too high for many struggling Californians despite a burst housing bubble — still play a role.

--

As domestic immigration slowed between 1970 and 2000, foreign immigration filled in the gap. But since 2000, even the state's once-growing immigrant population has been frozen at 27% of total residents. Since at least 2005, more residents have left California than arrived here from other states.

Liberals figuratively beat their dog, then wonder why their dog runs away.

There is no rational way to place the blame for CA's crappy economy on anything other than liberal policies.

No, it looks like Romney really is the best hope for them.

Good point. But I don't think it's so much the quality of the candidate as the stupidity of the voter.

Amazing republicans feel America is so damned exceptional and the voters so damned stupid at the same time.

What the hell you think got Obama elected in the first place?

8 years of horrible republican policies, so maybe in that way stupidity IS to blame.

And you advocate perpetuating stupidity by re-electing Obama?

Obama had been a pretty good president.

But you believe Romney will protect American jobs. He has millions invested in China. One of his companies is moving to China this month from Freeport, Illinois.

In fact, he keeps the rest of his millions in secret accounts overseas so he doesn't have to invest in this country. But he would jeopardize "millions"???? You don't really believe that, do you? Obama has won 11 cases against China in the WTO Court. Including tires and steel. How can you spin that?

So now we are back to the question that if Obama is so horrible why has not Romney been able to make the case that he is better? Do you think Mr. robotic suit man is some kind of change for the better with all those Bush alumni he has surrounded himself with?
