Free Speech issues

The purpose of this post is twofold. First, to start a conversation about the current state of free speech in this country, particularly as it applies to the internet. Second, I would appreciate it greatly if you would take a couple of minutes to complete a short survey about free speech. I created the survey for a class I am taking (I am a law student), and it would really help me out. The responses are completely anonymous. I know what my views on the issue are, I am very interested to see what all of your views are!
