The President-Elect has managed to create speculation that US auto manufacturers will follow the leadership, only for the Fatherland: And not share benefits of new manufacturing technology with the world economy, forever anymore. The "Thousand Year Reich" concept has apparently been taken, already.

Ford has cancelled plans to expand into Mexico. That follows the Trump election. GM is on radar, January 3, as the next car-maker on the Retribution List for exporting manufacturers. An unwieldy tariff system is being proposed.
And all U. S. manufacturers will likely be allowed to pay more for Health Care, for their employees, to boot!
