A French President lost a re-election campaign, apparently unable to hear the voice of France in a fast-paced changing, Socialist world, after all! So the Socialist candidate won instead! Again, as GOP Conservatives might contend--The Vatican regression, of the College of Cardinals, to the Holy Father's own Christian Hitler Youth: Needs work.

BBC News - France election: Francois Hollande 'wins first round'

Anyone knows the kinds of families that the GOP Conservative are. Banker bail-outs, of Bush-Cheney-Paulson, are more their norm. Low-income families, having been Cast Out Into Outer Darkness, (Matt 25::14-30), are even now not on GOP radar as being participants in a market economy.

The economy of bail-outs is the Romney-GOP vision, like under Bush-Cheney-Paulson. Only the rich are entitled, according to GOP. Romney noted that auto-workers are not entitled.

And so there is France, post-elections!

"Crow, James Crow: Shaken, Not Stirred!"
(Actually, GOP was also bad for business, even in the South under "Reconstruction!")

I wonder if SCYTL is counting the votes for France. They are a global company located in Spain and George Soros is reportedly connected to them. They will be counting US votes in the next election and there are concerns. Recounts and exact counts for each district are difficult, if possible. No paper trail or chain of custody of the electronic votes.

I don't trust them and find it odd that more socialists are winning when this company is involved.

It's not voters who have power, it's those who count the votes that have the power.

Would it have helped if this part of his post,

'wins first round'

had been bigger, or would you still have managed to have say something that stupid?

Outstanding.

Mr Hollande has strongly criticised Mr Sarkozy's economic record.

The Socialist candidate has promised to raise taxes on big corporations and people earning more than 1m euros a year.

He also wants to raise the minimum wage, hire 60,000 more teachers and lower the retirement age from 62 to 60 for some workers.

Has a familiar ring to it ... a winning combination, with global appeal.

The freaking quiche eaters couldn't tie their own shoelaces without some socialist pamphlet telling them that they could take six ours off to do it. We saved their sorry DNA in two wars and they still can't produce anything but crappy wine.

Why is it you flaming moonbat lefties never allow your reputation to be added to or subtracted from? Are you afraid to see how unpopular you really are?

François Hollande on top but far right scores record result in French election

François Hollande has moved a step closer to becoming the first Socialist president of France in a generation by beating the incumbent, Nicolas Sarkozy, in the first round of elections. But the surprisingly high vote for the extreme-right candidate, Marine Le Pen, boosted the overall figures for the right and meant that the final runoff vote on 6 May remains on a knife edge.

Partial results showed Hollande – a former Socialist party leader, rural MP and self-styled Mr Normal – with a clear lead at more than 28%, compared with Sarkozy on 27%. It is one of the left's best ever results and will raise momentum for next month's final runoff where only the two candidates will compete against each other. The Socialist party is seeking to return to the presidency for the first time since François Mitterrand's re-election in 1988.

Sarkozy's total will be seen as a personal failure. It is the first time an outgoing president has failed to win a first-round vote in the past 50 years and makes it harder for Sarkozy to regain momentum. The final vote between Hollande and Sarkozy now depends on a delicate balance of how France's total of rightwing and leftwing voters line up.

You are referencing a nation state (France) that by its very name and behavior, goes to war, functions, and even used to build cars, with a fucking "Lisp".....

Have ever watched France walk.

Hips swivel.
