All you Republicans in the House and all you Republicans in the Senate prepared to vote for passage of the Republican Tax Reform bill that has come out of the Conference Committee need to take it fully to heart a slight variation of the lesson learned from the 1992 Presidential campaign when George H.W. Bush lost to Bill Clinton! It's the "National Debt" stupid!

There are liars, damn liars and statistics.

Yeah and the left whined for 8 years about it under Obama.

Oh wait...no they didnt

It's not going to work screaming debt
Actually we did. We said Bush's 2 wars were pointless, were not paid for, were hemorrhaging money, and should be put to an end. We also said military and war spending should decrease in general, as should corporate welfare which are sometimes one in the same - it's the rights welfare scheme that picks winners and hurts competition. We said true healthcare costs were out of control and being diverted to taxpayers one way or another.

Speaking of the 2 wars, why didn't the right have the economic aptitude to fund the wars, rather than deciding to put upwards of 4 trillion on the national debt credit card?

That's merely a symptom. But good on you for mentioning it anyway.

The actual problem is the monetary policy itself. But neither the satists on the right or the statists on the left will ever question it that far. There are very, very, very few true conservatives left in America.
