FOX News Report: Obama 'Fantastic' C-in-C

im confused, i thought fox was horrible news and the dems hate war? if they hate war how did he become a great Commander in Chief? Did he dissolve the military? Did he send everyone home? Did he shit down GItmo yet?

What did he do?

FOX is horrible. but a broken clock is right twice a day. :eusa_shifty:

Democrats hate war. Republicans hate war. So do most military. That is why we struggle before we go to war. War is bad. A last solution.

Maybe you mean fighting war? Democrats and liberals have been war heroes. Democrats and liberals have supported wars

so u only like fox when it agrees with u and u only agree with war when its ur guy as Commander, gotcha. BTW hte two kiddies in there now didnt support the war, just fyi,

Holding my nose when citing or linking to FOX is not a LIKE.

btw, I linked to FOX with no problem until FOX News and CNN went with "Obamacare ruled unconstitutional"

If a news org can't read 4 pages into a synopsis of a SCOTUS decision, they have some credibility issues. Especially when said news orgs denied for a while that they got it wrong.

So now Fox News is a good news source...

The head of the Special Operations Command, Admiral William McRaven, says President Obama is a "fantastic" commander in chief.

Dante is not the left:eusa_whistle:

Excuse me while I LMAO.

What the hell did you expect a serving General to say??

"Obama sucks as CIC."

Don't hold your breath for that to pass any serving generals lips. I sure won't.

LOL

Dear moronic imbecile, silence. There is a military code for how and when criticism of commanders is credible and allowed.

You neglect the positive because there is no negative? :eusa_shifty:

another remedial class failure.

The officers and men under Reagan left in their thousands and thousands after the Iran Contra mess.

That a president would allow underlings to make deals with terrorist nations that could end up with munitions being shot at our troops is treasonous.

Nothing of the sort has happened under Obama's watch . . . yet.

Ramifications of the Iran-Contra Affair
Still denying his full knowledge of the NSC's involvement with the contras, President Reagan appointed several members to the Tower Commission on 1 December 1986. The Tower Commission, made up of John Tower, Edmund Muskie, and Brent Scrowcroft, set out for a "comprehensive review" of the NSC's operational role in the Iran-Contra Affair (Kornluh & Byrne xx). The Commission interviewed several participants in the scandal, including Ronald Reagan, Vice President George Bush, Oliver North, Admiral Poindexter, and Robert McFarlane. After the extensive interviewing of Reagan's administration, the Tower Commission issued its final report on 26 February 1987. The Commission found that the NSC staff had acted on their own initiative without the approval or full knowledge of the President. This report advanced a "rogue squad" theory of the NSC staff and exonerated President Reagan. The Tower Commission attributed this to Reagan's "hands-off management style" (Kornbluh & Byrne xx).

:clap2:

some things need repeating.

plus, what is up with all the right wingers disrespecting the US Military? Is it their attitude that the only military that deserves respect is the military that toes the party line?

Yahoo news? anyway. either Plausible Deniability on Reagan's part or Reagan had an administration running roughshod over the US Constitution and shitting on the American people and Ronnie was clueless.

not a great choice of defense here

Dante is not a leftie.

Dante dislikes FOX and CNN because both have issues with credibility on breaking news (Breaking News: Obamacare ruled unConstituitional) and sticking by it with bullshit defense.

I laughed at Yahoo news as a source for an old story. Seems like they are used for kids looking into historical issues...kids with very poor knowledge base. Don't they do like Headline News? :eusa_clap: very deep.

But the comments are on point.

Either Reagan was clueless as criminals were running his administration, or he knew and he hid behind plausible deniability - ala George HW Bush
