I can't give you the link, but I watched Bill O'Reilly debate people when I watched the CBC do a report on FOX news, and he does say "shut up" to people quite frequently. Canada is America's biggest trading partner. I just the CBC ALOT more than FOX news. Liberals are not the enemy, we can work with liberals to make North America better.

Liberals come from a mindset that I do not want to compromise with. The government's purpose is to simply protect the freedom of the individual, not to solve every problem. The government is not the answer, shoot they can't even figure out the question! There is nothing that makes me more afraid than the words, "We're from the government and we're here to help!"

This whole idea that their ideology is something that I should simply give up all my principles and beliefs to work with would be simply caving into a principal that I believe is fundamentally incorrect at the core and that any step in that direction is a wrong step. It's not that I think they are an enemy at all, but I do think that they are more than just wrong in the effort to create a government program to solve every social ill imaginable and find the idea of working "with" a person who thinks in such a way not just unpalatable, but nearly impossible.

I have watched their news reports, they get their news from the AP wire like all the other newsies. I believe that what you are complaining about are people like O'Reilly and Hannity, et al. They are OP ED shows and are supposed to be biased. They are giving opinion, not reporting news and that is what they are supposed to be doing and what they were hired for.

A. They are out of power in the legislative and executive branches and are soon to be out of power in the judicial branch as well.

B. Here in the US, unlike Kanadastan, we have acknowledged that liberalism and socialism cause failure and incompetence and hence these two are on the way to the ashheap of history.Perhaps one day Kanadastan will come to it's senses. I eat many an import from your country and enjoy the food immensely.

C. Liberalism and Socialism cannot solve ANY problems merely create new ones. Here's to capitalism and the hope that Kanadastan will pull it's head out of its arse and see the light.

YES! Now let me say that again in case you missed it... YES!

He got rid of the deficit.

Only on paper not in reality. He got rid of it by pushing off into future dates a lot of the expenses and by claiming income that never materialized (the biggest example is the auction of PCS frequencies - billions were bid, most of it was never collected, yet he left it on the books as "IOUs".

You seem to forget that the deficit is not the only thing that is important. Clinton's neglect while president is what has led to the events of the day. We were repeatedly attacked during his 8 years and he did NOTHING. Basically, he emboldened the terrorists.

I think that report was done quite some time ago, when the CRTC first approved the news channel in Canada. I seem to recall hearing the comments BBM posted about Canada in the Canada forum here.
