What total bullshit! That excuse that was floated by Democrats has been roundly discredited for years now. Right from the start, Charlene Lamb, the woman in charge of security for that area said that those budget cuts had ZERO to do with the level of security in Benghazi and that they had just as many security personnel in Libya as the State Department felt necessary. Hillary Clinton made the call to rely on "local security" instead of Americans because she didn't want it to appear that we didn't "trust" the locals.

Dude, they cut the "request" by that amount...they didn't cut embassy security funding by those amounts. There was plenty of money to fund security. Charlene Lamb who was in charge of security for the embassy staff in Libya stated under oath that those cuts had ZERO to do with how much security was in place in Libya! That was a CHOICE made by Hillary Clinton because she didn't want it to appear that we didn't trust the Libyan militia to act as our guardians.

Are you guys going to continue to trot this argument out...regurgitating the same misleading story from multiple liberal media outlets? It won't change the fact that the whole GOP budget cuts were to blame was simply one more talking point that Hillary tried desperately to use to divert blame from her to someone else. She was in charge...she made the call...she's responsible for the outcome.
