Fox crushes MSNBC, again...

Really, it would matter more if you added up MSNBC and CNN together if you are comparing Left TV to right tv.

No it wouldn't. Look at those actual numbers. They're pathetic! All that Fox beating MSNBC means is that MSNBC is even MORE pathetic.

Being the "biggest cable news channel" is like being the tallest midget or the giraffe with the loudest voice or the fastest snail.

What this shows us is that liberals are SLIGHTLY less likely to get their news from cable TV than conservatives -- but not that much less likely. Looks like not that many conservatives do, either.

Very observant. Not exact arithmatic, but roughly 10-13 million (people) total for the shows listed and well over 300 million people in the USA.

A solid 3:1 ratio. For you Democrats that means Fox had three times as many viewers as those of Sharpton, Matthews, Schultz, and Maddow combined. Wow, NBC sure leaves a lot of ad revenue on the table with that bunch.

Excellent discussion about the MAINSTREAM MEDIA

NBC is just a GE/Democrat propaganda tool. I mean GE CEO Jeffrey Immelt is this President's "Jobs Czar" for God's sake. Can't take them seriously anymore. It's the Government/Media Complex at its worst. And CNN has just fallen off the face of the earth at this point. I don't know anyone who still watches them. Fox News is #1 because they are the best. And despite what all the snearing Socialists/Progressives say, they are the most balanced Network in News. This has been proven. They have far more Socialists/Progressives appearing on their Network than Conservatives appearing on CNN and NBC. They do have more balance.

I agree with your assessment, especially the connection between Immelt working within the administration and his company owning NBC, CNBC, MSNBC ect.....i dont like it when the media and people in politics are in the same bed, its bad for the people on both sides of the aisle.

I watched maddow last night. I don't think there is a more juvenile acting person in the media.

Yea it's pretty disturbing. NBC only reports what they think will benefit GE and the Democratic Party. How can anyone call them a reliable news source? And Jeffrey Immelt should be removed as "Jobs Czar" immediately. The only jobs he has created are all over in China. It really is a very shady relationship. I'm still shocked that it hasn't been investigated yet. Anyway, thanks for your great take.

After watching the CNBC republican debate a few weeks ago I don't doubt any of what you just said. Those questioners were SOOOOO biased it was a joke.

60 average? Could be. But Fox totally dominates the 25-54 age demographic, which advertisers covet the most because it's the group deemed to have the most disposable income to spend on their goodies.

That's always the plan in MSNBCs 8pm time slot. Which is why the anchor job for that hour has been a revolving door for a very long time now.

Several years ago the next soon to be victim was Phil Donahue. So one night O'Reilly informs his viewers the following week Donahue will be premiering his show at 8 over on MSNBC, and nicely welcomes him to the broadcast hour, plenty of audience to go around for all of us, etc., etc. And all the while he's got this great cat who ate the canary grin on his face. It was priceless. Then eight or nine months later he had the same grin when he announced competitor Phil was being bounced because of low ratings. And old Bill just continues to chew 'em up and spit 'em out.

so they all have less viewers than pro wrestling.......

are people really bragging that 1% of america watches fox?

doesnt work that way...... there are not 9 million "total viewers" since most of overlap each other....... if one person watches o'rielly and hannity, you dont count them as 2 people........ because by that "logic" more people watch network channels than the population of the us.........

i dont watch either fox or msnbc or cnn or hln or any of that crap....... just pointing out that it not how you count viewers.......

You don't know what you're talking about. It's immaterial whether a person watches one show on Foxs or MSNBCs evening lineup, two of them, or all of them. Audience size is scored by Neilsen and others as viewers per show. And the dollar rates for ad buys are then determined by the size of its viewing audience. Thus Fox charges a hell of a lot more for a 30 second spot on O'Reilly than MSNBC can charge for Schultz, whose audience isn't even a third as large as O'Rs.

If you want round the clock GE/Democrat propaganda, obviously NBC is what you'll enjoy. But don't kid yourself,GE and this White House are as corrupt as they come. It really is the Government/Media Complex at its worst. Their relationship is way too cozy to trust anything NBC reports.

Forgive me but to call MSNBC or FOX a news outlet is being generous to say the least. Both of these so called news networks, have picked a side and molded their opinions, and journalistic views toward that. In fact to even suggest that these networks are journalist in a real sense is to give them much more credit that they are due and to denegrate the profession in general. They are in fact editorial networks that lend voice to the views they support. In that regard they are much like the marketing arm of any corporation or business. One need only look at the various netwoeks history over the last 10 years and see the sheer number of times they have been caught in twisting the news or editing in their favor. My favorites are still Chris Matthews "thrill up his leg" comment and the Fox News posting political facts on its news show only problem is it was a Senate Republican Memo complete with typos. If people believe these networks are serious news just look at Canada which has a law that forbids lying on broadcast news. Recently regulators there denided the PMs effort to repeal the law thus keeping these editorial networks from establishing themselves as they have here. My suggestion for people who wish to have unfettered news is to go back to the source and that is the raw source of news, the feeds from the journalists themselves, the real one's not the fake ones that ask Presidents pre written questions or sit around on TV shows throwing nerf footballs or hawking books.

GE owns NBC. GE CEO Jeffrey Immelt is this President's "Jobs Czar." GE doesn't pay Taxes. GE Outsources Thousands and Thousands of American Jobs. Now,why don't you hear about all that from NBC? Jeebus people,do the Math. It's all propaganda.
