Four firefighters shot, two dead, Rochester fire

Gun Laws wont wipe away every gun related murder and people who relate the two are just talking out of their butt. We fail to account for the stats of saved lives because of gun laws because the crimes never happened.. How can we have a conversation about what our country does about guns if every time someone gets shot some guy who thinks hes a badass flipping the finger with a sleeve of tatto's says Oh how bout dem Liberals with they gun laws now? legal gun owners are usually responsible people but gun crimes are going to occur either way. we need to stop focusing so much on the murders that do happen and realize that perhaps a well regulated law for legal gun ownership is neccissary

It happens in Los Angeles all the time. Firefighters have to have armed escorts in the bad neighborhoods. Same thing in France. Only in France sometimes they just don't go. No amount of gun control is going to stop criminals and gangs from having weapons and using them.

Katzndogz stop lying......I work at a hospital as you know, and I've never seen not one fucking armed escort...The only time they are escorted is by LAPD or LASD whenever they bring in a GSW (gunshot wound)...You are fucking lying out your teeth

You just don't know as much as you think you know.

LAFD Works Bulletproof Vests into Calls, if Needed | NBC Southern California

Bullet proof vests became required equipment for members of the Los Angeles Fire Department after the 1992 riots, when firefighters battling blazes became targets of people with guns.

If firefighters respond to a dangerous situation in which vests are required, Lenske said responders will wait for Los Angeles Police Department officers to clear and secure the scene before firefighters can head inside.

I'm surprised you've never seen "an armed escort" because the sight of a fire truck accompanied by police vehicles is routine. As in always, even if it's a car fire on the freeway.

This is why

Deputy shoots, kills man allegedly brandishing gun at firefighters [Updated] - latimes.com

A Los Angeles County sheriff's deputy shot and killed a man who was brandishing a gun at firefighters responding to a blaze in Lincoln Heights on Saturday morning, authorities reported.

The incident took place shortly before 5 a.m. in the 400 block of Solano Avenue. Firefighters arrived at the scene of a house fire and were met with gunshots.

Did you really think those cop cars on the heels of the hook and ladder aren't armed?

What you really should have said was that you haven't seen armed escorts bringing anyone into the hospital unless it was a gunshot wound. That's the limit of your knowledge, at the end, not at the scene.

Not only firefighters but paramedics are attacked, even at car accidents.

They don't have to be shot at, the first responders can be stabbed as well.

Have any of these victims showed up at your hospital?
