That's kinda funny - in a deranged sort of way. Who needs assault weapons and high-capacity clips/magazines?

Some criminals think they do (although scary black rifles are only used in a small percentage of crimes, and the average number of shots fired in the commission of a crime is less than 10, as I recall) -- and there's nothing you've proposed that will have any effect on criminals.

You want to disarm law-abiding people. Be honest and admit it.
