Former FBI Official: Halting Immigration Is ‘Not Who We Are,’ Americans Must ‘Adjust’ To Terrorism

Apparently we have to submit to terrorism because of some bullshit slogan that isn't true. The left is so stupid it defies comprehension. Not only that, but they are positively suicidal.

Former FBI Official: Halting Immigration is 'Not Who We Are,' Americans Must 'Adjust' to Terrorism - Breitbart

A former official with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) says Americans will have to “adjust” to a new country where terrorism is routine because halting immigration is “not who we are.” Former Assistant Director for Counterintelligence at the FBI C. Frank Figliuzzi writes in a piece for NBC News that terrorism in the United States is changing quickly to a strategy where terrorism is merely mitigated and contained.

Rather than halting immigration from particularly dangerous and terrorist-sanctioned regions of the world, Figliuzzi says Americans may have to change the way they live, noting how Americans in the car rental business and hotel industry are now subject to “rigorous training” on terrorism-related issues.

But just as officials are adjusting their perspective, it may be time for the public to adjust as well. Terrorism task forces around the nation already have rigorous training and awareness programs for truck rental personnel, hotel staff, and a host of other groups who may find themselves suddenly on the front lines of our war against terror. If we cling to the old view that any successful attack represents a counterterrorism failure, we must also be ready to accept a new way of life. Do we want to view anyone from a different country, with a different set of beliefs, as no longer welcome here?

While Figliuzzi admits that it’s Americans who will have to suffer, he argues that current legal immigration — whereby more than one million foreign nationals enter the U.S. every year — trends must continue, no matter if they might expose Americans to more terrorist threats.

I would argue we do not. Today, the White House is already calling for even more stringent constraints on immigration policy.

"You must just get used to being raped". This is like a doctor saying that you must just get used to cancer, or an economist saying you must just get used to socialism. What a farce.

to flip this - we now ban that 1 million because of those who *may* come in to cause harm and havoc?

a stance the pro-gun crowd uses is that the bad guys will always find a way to get in so all you do in banning guns is stop good people from getting them. in that light, if we ban all entry - won't the bad guys still find a way to cause their damage? are we in effect only hurting those who want to come here like any other nationality or segment of people?

The 2nd Amendment protects your right to own guns. Nothing in the Constitution gives foreigners the right to come here. If we don't benefit from their presence, then why should we admit them?
so - to be clear - are you saying we don't benefit AT ALL from people from other countries coming over here? or even specifically muslims?

is that your stance?

he's spot on. We have to stand up for our values, even if it means taking hits.

Diversity isn't a value. It's horseshit.

I don't have any values that say we have to admit muzzie savages and low wage labor from the third world into this country.

probably neither. not sure what one has to do with the other. you're the one who said ALL MUSLIMS and said they carried no value in this country.

i disagreed and showed value experienced in (2) medical fields where they worked hard to help me improve my own health.

you're the one trying to narrow this into something useless so you can "be right" that we don't need them here. technically, none of us are *needed* here as the world will go on with or without us.

so we go from ethnic restaurants as their only benefit TO YOU to collecting garbage while you dismiss the value they do in fact have because it doesn't suit your agenda.

how "liberal" of you.

I know you dont value diversity. In fact, you value exactly the opposite. That's part of why you are in a constant state of hissy fit.
