This is merely another case of Republicans lame attempt to manufacture some type of success from their failed policies. Once again, they "failed".

If nothing else, they are certainly consistent.

And people ought to use this "teachable moment" when it comes to all big government, big spending and big regulating programs. They are almost never worth it and can even do more harm than good much of the time.

The only miniscule difference between R's and D's is weather we take the Bush style coal powered train off the debt cliff and plunge to our fiery death or we take the Obama/Pelosi Bullet train to the same gruesome fate.

Fully funded. The principle was wonderful, until it hit up with GOP politics in the Congress

Funny thing though, Bush kept trying to add funding in his budget, but he had a hard time getting enough Democrats to sign on to keep it up.
