The vast majority of people don't care. What they care about is whether or not they:
    1. Have a roof over their heads.
    2. Are employed.
    3. Presently have food in the cupboards and refrigerator.
    4. Can buy things they need, or would like to have.
The vast majority won't get excited about dwindling resources due to population issues until there's no food on the table and their stomachs are up against their backs. Of course, by then it will be a bit too late.

That's not true. They care about what Lindsey Lohan and the people on Jersey shore are doing.
