Shots fired at deputies
Details are still coming in about a chase suspect in Watauga County. Reporter Melanie Marshall confirmed on scene that the suspect in a shots fired call at a residence on Wild Cat Road in Deep Gap is the same individual involved in a high speed chase Tuesday night.

No one has been hit and SWAT team members and medical units have been standing by.

The suspect is said to have fired shots at Watauga Sheriff's deputies.

Latest: SBI on scene. Suspect barricaded in residence.
