For a strong economy, renewables.

ARJ MINERALS owns and operates 10 mines in different parts and has applied for the leases of several others. Our total deposit size is estimated to be in excess of 15 million tons

Quartz is a synonym for Silica (SiO2). Silica is one of the second most abundant mineral in Earth's continental crust. Quartz, Quartz crystals, quartzite, silica sand, sand (others) and moulding sand are all coined together in one generic name "silica minerals".Quartz or silica sand are used in various industries like glass, refractory, foundry, ceramic, cosmetic, Silicon Chips , electrical components , paints etc.

Silica is easily-available. It's the mining of the rare earths, heavy metals, and cobalt used in renewable energy sources, that are destroying the African countryside, and the people who mine it..

Then why are so many dying from it in China, India.......Africa....

We have OSHA here..............they have get your ass back to work there...........
Well, we have OSHA for now. Like the EPA, that could go away if our 'Conservatives' remain in power.
BS.............We aren't gonna go back to the industrial revolution and do that shit again...........That's the problem

Over there........they are KILLING THE WORKERS......and that is how we are getting CHEAPER SOLAR PANELS..........

Are the dead worth saving a buck............yes or no.........

American Made Solar Panels: 2019 List of U.S. Manufacturers | EnergySage

There are two things that we should mention about our list of American-made solar panel companies.

First, many of these companies assemble some or all of their solar panels in the U.S., but import the key components from other countries. These components also fall under the solar tariff, but there is an exception for the first 2.5 gigawatts (GW) of solar cells imported each year. (For context, the United States installed 12 GW of solar in all of 2017, of which an estimated 2.5 GW was U.S.-made solar panels.)

Only 20% of the installed solar panels in 2017 were made in America.......Might be assembled here........but they getting those panels from places like CHINA.

Try again...........that was from your website.

Well wouldn't you get more spinny windmills and solar farms if the EPA and OSHA went away?

Looks like you're on the wrong side, mang. Better try voting Republican, eh?
I don't vote for the tools of the Russians.

So the Russians used the GOP to set up some kind of shadow government here or something? Where is all this "Russian influence"? Did you have to give up your Kool-Aid in exchange for vodka? How about dinner? Are we eating borscht now, instead of ramen noodles?

I see no "Russian influence" here. That's just dopey.

Bureau of Labor Statistics, the fastest growing occupation in the US is solar PV installer, with a projected growth rate of 105% from 2016 – 2026. While this fact might not be that surprising to people in the solar power industry, or those who follow it closely, to anyone else it might be startling. Before you found out that solar PV installer is at the top of the fastest growing occupations, at least in the US, what would you have guessed it to be? Know what number two is? It’s wind turbine service technician — so the top two fastest growing occupations in the country are both in renewable energy.

Waste enough money, you can create lots of low-productivity jobs.

Isn't that what Obama did for 8 years? You'd think for $10 trillion of bailouts and packages, someone would have gotten a decent shovel-ready job out of the deal.

At least those 25 or 30 failed "green energy" companies made out like bandits, before they went bankrupt and ran off with the taxpayer's money.

This fact sheet focuses on employment in the renewable energy and energy efficiency sectors in the United States and around the world. According to the 2019 U.S. Energy Employment Report (USEER), 611,000 people worked in zero-emission technology industries, including renewables and nuclear in the United States. The International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) recorded even higher renewable energy employment in the United States at 855,000 direct and indirect jobs in 2018. Jobs in energy efficiency experienced significant growth—the sector now employs more than 3 million people in the United States. IRENA reports that, globally, the renewable energy sector employed 11 million people in 2018, 700,000 more than in 2017.

Climate adaptation and resilience stand out as rapidly emerging areas of employment as a result of climate change impacts. These sectors will be critical to track in tandem with jobs in renewable energy and energy efficiency in the coming years. However, the Standard Occupation Classification (SOC) system managed by the Bureau of Labor Statistics does not currently include codes to allow for the comprehensive analysis of employment in these fields. To address the lack of country-wide data, the American Society of Adaptation Professionals (ASAP) has initiated efforts to define and quantify the adaptation and resilience workforce. ASAP’s preliminary analysis found that adaptation and resilience employment is predominantly in government (40 percent), non-governmental organizations (36 percent), and the private sector (16 percent). However, ASAP reports that adaptation work is growing fastest in for-profit, private sector companies, including for-profit climate service firms as well as climate-affected firms from a variety of industries across the North American economy. Climate adaptation and resilience jobs cut across a number of different types of work, including communications and outreach, conservation and ecology, economics and finance, education, engineering and design, hazard mitigation, planning, policy, program administration, and project management. Adaptation and resilience work have been both incorporated into existing jobs and resulted in new jobs—one example being the creation of high-level Chief Resilience Officer positions in over 86 cities around the world. While it is not currently possible to report on the total number of people employed in the climate adaptation and resilience field in the United States, this is an important area of job growth to track looking forward.

9.5 million? Or 855,000? Or 611,000?

LOL!

Of course you do not, comrade. Old Moscow Mitch and Putin's butt kisser, the orange clown, don't want you to see it, so you are not going to see it, even when all 17 of our national security agencies see it.

Well that's nice. Maybe I can get me a nice Commissar's position when they finally start rounding up you Democrats for the Gulags. Hope the job comes with a spiffy uniform and some jack-boots. I would look stunning.

More people employed, to produce much less actual energy. That may be a good deal for those who have those jobs, but not at all a good deal for the economy as a whole.
The economy benefits more, when less cost (including labor) goes into producing more value.

Explain, " More people employed, to produce much less actual energy"

An electric car is faster and more powerful than a car fueled by gasoline. I know by driving my son's Chevy Bolt; It can be fueled by solar panels and produce no carbon monoxide. One example of many, that green and renewable energy is the way to go.

Car manufacturers are producing more E Vehicles each year, and more homes are installing solar panels on the roof. In the Tri Valley where I live more and more parking lots have installed charging stations. It is the future, and the future is now.

What's not to understand?

The economy benefit, when more wealth is created, than what goes into creating it. The greater the gain in created wealth vs. the cost of creating it, the greater the benefit to the economy as a whole.

The claim made by [Dumber than] Old Rocks is that ten times as many people are employed in the “renewable energy” business, than in fossil fuels. It is undeniable, I think, however, that fossil fuels account for far more energy actually created and supplied to consumers. So, “renewable energy” is incurring about ten times the labor costs, in order to produce far less value.

[Dumber than] Old Rocks tried to paint this as being good for the economy, based on the number of jobs created, but by itself, that is no meaningful measure of how much the economy is being helped. If you had government employing large numbers of people, at taxpayer expense, just to perform meaningless tasks that create no value at all, you could claim that it benefits the economy to create all those jobs, but in fact, it would be a net loss to the economy, as money and resources are wasted to no beneficial effect.

In other words, you were too lazy even to look at the extensive information that Lazard provides on each of this issues. And all you do is flap yap, then say no one is providing information, when you make no attempt on your part to provide information.
The bull shit is ALWAYS deep with this one.... No matter how many times this lie is disproved you always come back with the same BS... Gobbelles would be proud of your propaganda powers..

Lol....the climate crusaders have been opining about this for 10 years in here.

Wont be happening :2up:

Nobody cares about renewables and anyway, the pols dont want to slam their constituents with mega- high electric bills.

If you want to see what an economy that is heavily dependent upon renewables looks like, have a gander at Germany and Australia. They bought the hype and drank the kook aid and now they pay the highest electricity bills in the world and have a very unreliable grid. It would be far worse for the US because our economy is far larger.

Wake up. You want a disaster story...forget climate change...make the US heavily dependent on renewables and you will get your disaster.
