No one denies its past ... but some, most assuredly, question the level of impact on modern day politics and society.

Just because the impact is less doesn't make it nonexistent. Indeed, not allowing ex-felons to vote are Jim Crow laws. Those laws in the south were nearly all passed in the 1890s, specifically to disenfranchise black voters. And given they had a million crazy ways to keep blacks from registering to vote, guess what that meant for juries?

They were all white, because they came he pool of registered voters. Sooo, how many living black ex-felons there are who were convicted by UNCONSTITUTIONAL all white juries?
