It appears Romney ran a lousy campaign. He lost in Michigan and in his adopted home town of Belmont, MA. He could have done some good, if he were elected, he simply could not convey his message to the everyman.

Romney lost momentum while Obama was getting his photo ops after Sandy. It didn't matter that FEMA was f'ing it up either b/c the press had his back like they did for Benghazi.

There was nothing Romney could have done to change this. Obama cheated on foreign campaign donations and then he effectively got out the shallow but effective message to the TMZ electorate.

Romney had my interest and my vote. I needed to hear his foreign policy and how he would have handled US military veterans those issues are very close to me. I could not find a straight answer to either. Again an outstanding businessman, but, he confused me and left me wanting with policy answers.

It's either that, or the republican party did that bad of a job appealing to enough people.

Oddball said it some other thread: no Ron Paul or Santorum speech at the RNC. No endorsement of Romney from Paul to get his supporters behind him. Not much appeal at all to Latinos despite having more Latino elected officials than the democrats.

I hope Obama's win has more to do with the republican party than anything. The republican party can be fixed a lot more easily than the majority of the nation wanting socialism, or more socialistic policies.
