Florida Attorney General: ‘We will pay for the funeral expenses of these poor victims’

feb 15 2018 As the community of Parkland, Florida -- and the entire nation-- attempt to comprehend the "pure evil" actions of a school shooter, Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi announced the funeral expenses for the school shooting victims would be covered by the state.

"We will pay for the funeral expenses of these poor victims and we'll do everything we can to help their families. The state of Florida, we will pay for counseling for the surviving victims. We will pay for students who need counseling," Bondi said during a news conference Wednesday evening.

Bondi also said Florida will monitor people claiming to represent the victims' families. GoFundMe will monitor everything, according to Bondi. "If you are donating to a crowdfunding site, GoFundMe is making sure that those funds will go to true victims and their families," she said.

The school failed to protect it's students in any way shape or form. The security was effectively non-existent. The shooter walked in, shot up the place and walked out. These events are foreeable - they happen at a frightening frequency. Consequently, the school officials are guilty of gross negligence and reckless endangerment.

The only solution is to make schools a secure environment. Currently, they are nothing more than potential killing fields. The prey is concentrated on known schedules. All that is lacking is a predator. Florida had a predator arrive Wednesday. You see the result.

Where was he? Did he do anything - anything at all?????

The guy walked in the front door, fired on 3 floors and walked out - totally unmolested. Having a cop wandering around isn't security. His ass should have been on duty at a secure entry point. He wasn't. There was no security.
