I am no fan of the European Union. Every European country should abandon it because it represents globalism. But I don't see the similarity between the EU symbol and the Betsy Ross flag, other than the white stars in a circle, against a blue field. Missing from the EU symbol are the red stripes which represent the hardiness and valor of the blood which has been given to protect our freedom, and the white stripes which represent purity and innocence.

The EU has neither hardiness, valor, purity, nor innocence.

It is not even close to the Betsy Flag. Does the flag Betsy Ross made in the 1770s mean that no other nation (or group of nations) can have a circle of stars on a flag? Despite the fact that the US no longer uses it as our flag?
