The FBI swore FOUR TIMES that the Steele dossier was not used as the source for Isikoff's September 23 article which itself was used as evidence in the FISA warrant. The contents of the dossier was in fact used for the Isikoff article and yet the Isikoff article was used to "verify" the dossier in the FISA.

NOW righties have an issue with FISA warrants ?
The basis for the charge of "it's a conspiracy against the President" is that Hillary paid, in part, for the GPS Fusion research, including the Steele Dossier, and that, in part, was the basis for probable cause to get a warrant on Page. The GPS Fusion material was partially confirmed by George Papadalius (sp) statement to the FBI.

The theory goes: Trump's opposition paid for the information the FBI used to get the warrant, which shows a conspiracy to take down Trump.

The sad fact is that most search warrants I've seen are based upon information provided by a felon who seeks to gain favorable treatment for turning in another, bigger, felon. So, in the actual world, the existence of a search warrant is irrelevant. .... except as to embarrassment or bad press. The Page search warrant WAS supported by probable cause. Possibly the FBI should have not put the fact that some of the probable cause came from an opponent in a footnote, and had the judge been more aware he would have turned down the warrant. But in practice that is not how it works. Rather, a judge says "show me more." The conspiracy theory rests upon the belief that the GPS fusion stuff was somehow tainted from being the basis of probable cause, and it wasn't. Steele didn't like Trump, but GPS fusion and Steele were known as reliable source from other, non-Trump, investigations, and Papadelius was partially independent confirmation of facts.

But what is really important is whether the search warrant turns up anything that itself shows a crime. I don't think we really know what the warrants on Page turned up ... if anything at all.

To me, the war cries about probable cause, and weak sauce that the war cries really are, makes me suspect the FBI got something out of Page.

1) Carter Page admits he worked as "informal advisor" to Russia.

2) FISA court judges who approved FISA warrants are Carter Page are all nominated by GOP.

So, those judges would have rejected FBI's request if they thought Carter Page shouldnt have been monitored. But it turns out he should have, by Carter Page's own admission.

Nope. You lie. The FBI never swore the Steele dossier was not a factor, and you can't provide any evidence they did.

The big liars in all of this are Trump and Nunes. Every claim Nunes made about his fake watered down release of the warrant has been shown to be a Big Lie. A Big Lie Trump keeps repeating, knowing you rubes bleev what he tells you to bleev, especially if he repeats it enough.

The FBI cited several sources and reasons to surveille the Russian agent Carter Page in their warrant application.

One has to wonder why Trump is going to so much trouble to protect a colluding traitor.

Only the ones used to abuse the system...dumbass.

Translation: they are only ok if they target Muslims.

People have complained about the rubber stamp fisa warrants for years . Cons didn’t give a crap .
Exactly. You hit the nail on the head.

When the Patriot Act was passed, I said at the time on another forum that it would be just a matter of time before it was used against Americans.

Here is the Carter Page warrant application: Carter Page FISA Documents FOIA Release

The Fifth Avenue Republicans won't read it. They don't have that kind of intellectual capacity, and they await instructions from the Traitor in Chief and their propagandists to tell them what to parrot and what to bleev about it.

The FISA warrant was lawfully applied for- with several documented sources- and approved by multiple judges- all appointed by Republicans.

The only reason that the Right has ever found to object to a FISA warrant is when it was applied to a former Don the Con campaign member.

Coincidence?

Nope.
