Bama didn't do that. But we had our first as well. Yeldon is the first true freshman RB to gain over 100 yards in his debut game. ROLL TIDE!!!

Syracuse vs. Northwestern was the best game of the day in terms of entertainment (not outcome)



Lots of lopsided victories but the Big 10 had some close calls with Iowa and Wiscy.

I am very happy to see Houston lose to Texas St. Memphis lose to Tenn-martin, and SMU get blown out tonight by Baylor.

After the 2nd saturday, things are shaking up a bit. Nebraska lost to the Bruins in a shootout. Arkansas lost to a Sunbelt team and droped out of the AP Top 25 from being ranked 8th.

Bama took care of business. LSU showed that a solid running game and a killer defense will beat a big time passing game (yet again). And USC pulls it out against Syracuse.

Oregon St upset another ranked team this year, I forget how many years in a row they have done that. They didn't get ranked though, not sure if Wisconsin was not that good to begin with or if Oregon St 3-9 record last year still lingers.
