Firm sells solar panels - to itself, taxpayers pay

You had me at Biden speaks in the pic caption...

Any bets on a penny stock scam with this one?

CNBC had a commentator on near the end of the trading day. Question on the screen "Is solar dead?"
If Obama's Cheerleading squad is even contemplating such a state, you betcha it is.
You know of course about what was in Friday's White House Solyndra Document Dump, that the lady in charge of seating at White House State Events, in this case the State Of The Union knew that Solyndra was in deep financial doo doo and it wouldn't be wise to put them in the same box as Michelle O.And yet, immediately after this the Energy department Okayed putting the Solyndra Investors ahead of the US Taxpayer in getting their money back in case of a business failure.
Obviously the Director of White House Etiquette has more on the ball than anyone at 1600 Pennsylvania, working, living, or reporting there.

From your link:
A heavily subsidized solar company received a U.S. taxpayer loan guarantee to sell solar panels to itself. First Solar is the company. The subsidy came from the Export-Import Bank, which President Obama and Harry Reid are currently fighting to extend and expand. The underlying issue is how Obama's insistence on green-energy subsidies and export subsidies manifests itself as rank corporate welfare.

!!!Caramba!!!

You can be sure Obama would be front and center taking as much credit as he could, if it was actually working. Go ahead, deny that one.

Hey, don't count out the Republicans in this.

Obama, Reid and most of the Republican leadership want to reauthorize Ex-Im this month and boost the amount of debt it can have outstanding. The lobbyists at Boeing, the Chamber of Commerce and the National Association of Manufacturers agree. They'll claim Ex-Im is crucial to prosperity. And for a few companies, it is.

cavil, to raise irritating and trivial objections; find fault with unnecessarily; seems to be Lovebears65 only forte.

Consider Oil and then consider why Obama is seeking alternative forms of energy,

Global Oil Price Factors | ExxonMobil's Perspectives Blog

"Crude oil prices are largely determined by global markets. As I’ve said before, crude oil is one of a number of globally traded commodities like gold, corn, coffee and many others. The prices of such commodities are set in worldwide markets comprised of millions of buyers and sellers reacting to economic fundamentals for each commodity."

So you are in support of continued corruption.

Well color me shocked.

If the Washington Examiner says the taxpayers pay, you know it's a lie!

From your own link:

This week, First Solar unloaded its St. Clair solar farm to NextEra Energy, and so First Solar's financial troubles don't threaten to put the taxpayer on the hook for this deal.

Yes, THEY'VE ALLREADY RIPPED THE TAXPAYERS OFF ONCE. They don't need to do it again.

Fail dude. Epic fail. Any way you wish to cut it your "green" revolution is a failure.
