The UN resolution 1718 and 1874 states that North Korea is forbidden to launch ICBM missiles such as Scud and Nodong. Yet as if toying with the resolutions, North Korea launched short range missiles


Considering these rash behaviors by North Korea, the international society needs a new solution

How is N Korea's firing missles that couldn't within a hundred miles of any target a serious threat to international society?

You forget that we have thousands upon thousads of U.S. troops and their families stationed in South Korea and Japan as we speak. With enough testing, N. Korea is finally going to be able to launch ballistic missiles at those bases and kill thousands of American citizens. If they perfect a nuke, then all gloves will be off. We will be forced to nuke them into oblivion, their citizens as well. They are a rogue nation that needs to be kept in check. And, if they are able to continue to scoff at the UN resolutions and defy international law, then they need to be dealt with now. Not after they have developed their ability to nuke us.

They could over run Seoul in basically an hour if they wanted to.

The American military and the ROK troops have been prepared for that eventuality for decades now. That's why it is never going to happen.

In regard to N. Korea's missile tests in general, now, in the past and in the future, I feel that Japan should formally request US protection and request that the US shoot down any one of them which is inline with Japan, no matter how short it may actually fall.

Japan would be within it's rights to make such a request and it would take the air out of that idiots balloon.
