Fired Gay Teacher on why he quit the bigoted Catholic church

(1) Catholics can get divorced and the Church officially has no problem with it. The issue comes up when you are (a) married in the Church, (b) get divorced, and (c) get re-married to (or take up residence with) someone else. And this is not the Catholic Church; it is the Bible. [This is one point that really puzzles me about other Christian religions. They have no problem with divorce and re-marriage, while claiming to be faithful to the Bible].

(2) An employee-at-will can be terminated for any reason, or for no reason at all, but cannot be terminated for a reason that is prohibited under the law. For example, race, ethnicity, gender, RELIGION, etc., depending on the jurisdiction. Even in North Carolina. "Right-to-Work" state has nothing to do with it.

(3) No one can go to work for a faith-based institution and feign surprise when disciplined for publicly mocking or disdaining the teachings of that institution.
