of course not
hes an asshole and a fucking moron

sorry, but the media is incompetent
i dont trust a one of them anymore
and havent for years
they all will lie to push the agenda

Again it is you who amazes me, do you think the media in Belgium, France, Holland, the UK, ... is in on the conspiracy?

1 newspaper can be incompetent, but not 30 newspapers from different countries. I travel "a lot" so I read different media sometimes.

Oh yeah.. 'everyone knows' that reprinting a story on multiple continents REALLY bolsters the validity of the article being reprinted... and when ya add numerous countries ON those continent... WELL... ya can only buy that kind of validity...

Yeah, good point. A lot of media just copy and past after they buy it from another network. But I think that some decent media like BBC need to check their sources themselves before they "buy" it. Or if you watch TV then you can see that it is a different reporter that reports the news where it happens.

um, the BBC???

you gotta be kidding
dont you wonder why they were kicked off the ships of the royal navy?

So being at Camp David counts as a Vacation? What? ROFL...

So what, jackass, do ya think GW did... toss up the 'off duty' flag and take the phone off the hook?

You people really are sub-par... I mean as an American... it's just embarassing knowing that we're subsidizing your survival with our prosperous productivity.

Yawn..

Well he didnt read anything thats for sure.. just stating facts.. and here is a newsflash.. "real Americans" can have different opinions.. and were still "real Americans"..

over 2.5 years off.. great work ethic to tell the children about...

Then again the country was probably better off with him not in the White House...

Well yeah real Americans can and do have different opinions... happens all the time.

Of course there are NO LEFTIST Americans... and it's a rare non-leftist that advances this level of fallacious drivel.

Once again... HOW DOES BEING AT CAMP DAVID CONSTITUTE 'BEING OFF'?

I'm looking for objective data which shows that the President is NOT ON DUTY when he was at his ranch, Camp David or any where else... anything short of that will be recognized as your default concession that you're simply full of shit.
Now please be as SPECIFIC as your intellectual limitations allow...

Vacation

Va*ca"tion\, n. [F., fr. L. vacatio a being free from a duty, service, etc., fr. vacare. See Vacate.]

1. The act of vacating; a making void or of no force; as, the vacation of an office or a charter.

2. Intermission of a stated employment, procedure, or office; a period of intermission; rest; leisure.

He can not perform every Presidential task at Crawford or while at Camp David that he can while on duty in the White House.. He is out of the office and on vacation.. simple enough..

True he has access to phones and can keep in touch, to make decider decisions, but he is still away from his office.. and he did make sure to have many pictures taken with saudi oil shieks while in his vacations at his ranch too.. so we all thought he's.. working..

The GOP noticed his lack of work ethic early on and conviently renamed his record breaking vacation days.. .. working vacations..

Fact still stands.. record number of vacation days... is held by 43...

Even just his vacation days at Cedar Bush Ranch broke (R)onnies record for days off

... and lovehandles.. I have always been and still am a registered Independent voter.. but please call me leftist, liberal whatever makes you feel like that name calling works to degrade ones viewpoint or make yourself happy with your political views... just keep spewing the R apologies for W's accomplishments and time in office...

... and to think W was a (R)epublican is the biggest joke Karl Rover and the GOP ever pulled on the American public... the only R part of his presidency is in his name.. Geo(R)ge.. ..well that... and the tax cuts..

How effective was Slick Willy when he was getting a BJ at the White House? You can run a country, or wage a war from Camp David, or in Texas. The White House is just that a White House. Yes, the stress is off some at these retreats, but make no mistake, he was kept abreast of all that was going on, just like if he was at the White House. Having said all that, why are you libs still harping on Bush. He gone, get on to a new subjest, huh? Oh I forgot, you watch Keith Olbermann, that cluck is still doing what your doing. You guys are nothing but a one trick pony.
PS I'm an Independent, also. The diferrence between me, and you is that I don't listen to socialist pundits. I like to do my own thinking. So go drink a cup of Kool-Aid, OK?

Did you hear healthcare costs went up 191% on Bush's watch?

And oil was $2 and on his watch $4.

And a surplus when he came in and a debt when he left.

A working army when he came in, a broken army now.

Well done, sealy and Red:clap2:

You can have all those other points, but don't discredit our servicemen and women, ok?

And it isn't "army" - it is military. American military, made up of branches of service, of which the Army is one.

Feel free to be partisan, but try to maintain the respect of those serving to protect your right to be so.

Thank you.
Allow me to get on my high horse and say that army when used with a lower case a is properly used in Sealy's post.

Additionally, saying the army is broken doesn't disrespect the ones serving in it anymore than saying Bank of America is broken disrespects the tellers that work there.

On the OP: bwahahahahahahaha! BUSH SUCKS!

Get back off your high-horse because "army", regardless of upper or lower case, is NOT a proper term to define the entire military. It is proper to use to define the US Army, and a nation's "army" in the field.

Saying the US military is "broken" is just bullshit, is what it REALLY is, and it DOES disrespect the members of the US Armed Forces.

Now if you want to say it's a "broke" military, why shouldn't it be? After all, it's funded by a "broke" government.

This thread highlights a really strange thing I've noticed... dead horse beating.

Who's winning here?

Not the beater.

Not the audience.

Certainly not the horse.

Who doesn't know a bunch of people think Bush sucks? I mean, is there ANYONE that doesn't know this? He's out of office and can't be re-elected to anything. What's the point? Are liberals just trying to make sure everyone knows how angry they are?

You've got the presidency.

You've got the congress.

You're pissed off.

Got it.

I think its news when a president posts the worst economic performance in a century. On a par with herbert hoover. That's astonishing.

Also, I don't recall for the last 8 years republicans agreeing with me that bush was a horrible president. I spent the last eight years saying bush was going to be a horrible president, and republicans overwhelming shouted me down, told me I was wrong, told me the economy was pretty darn good, and bush wasn't that horrible.

To this day, I often see republicans rush into his defense on message boards. So, I can't say I agree that its a moot point, and that everyone agrees bush was an astonishingly bad president.

Except for the part that you are posting your extremist, one-sided opinions as fact? Bush was not an astonishly bad President. He wasn't an astonishingly good one. Horrible? GMAFB. That just describes your politics.

Its the ones who say they dont like him yet insist on following the same insane policies that got us into this mess.

That is what the R congressmembers want us to do.

Which is the same damned thing the D congressmembers want us to do. Get a clue, huh?

Yeah, it took about 30 seconds to get his ass handed to him on that one. I guess "well done" is in the context of how fast he went down in defeat, huh?

Again the myth that government or the President "creates" jobs other than government jobs

Business creates jobs

And of course.. Bush did not have to contend with anything negative during his 8 years... it was all easy time for him to do as he pleased... and the economy under Clinton's time was all rose petals and perfume that had no ill effects moving forward

It's the bullshit posts like this that really show the true ignorance... quick snapshots rather than the big picture

Was Bush a great Prez?? Hell no... Was he horrid and the devil the leftists try and portray him as?? Hell no... And lord knows Clinton was not the great Prez they love to paint him as...
Big picture? Stock markets and jobs were heading down since 2005, rebounded slightly in the middle and then kept falling. Bush's answer came in the form of tax rebates. The drops continued. Democrats and Republicans thought they could give bailouts to the banking industry. They took luxury cruises with the money, and the banking industry teetered some more. Democrats and a few Republicans thought they could give a bailout to the auto industry as well. They came on chartered jets to beg for the money.

I guess my only point is, I think we're long due for the second great depression. Sometimes the dead wood just needs to be chopped off. We'll be better off in the end if every one of the big three as well as most of the banks fail as long as they're replaced by people who have a better business sense than the ones running them right now.

Back to topic though, Bush wasn't the cause of the economy's tanking (though I do think Alan Greenspan has some blood on his hands for this one), but he didn't know how to handle it either.

so if you dont like the topic.. dont read it.. and go vote independent..

I understand this is difficult to understand for Democrats but there was no surplus.

The so called surplus was projected over a 10 year period assuming that the economy in the Clinton administration continued to grow at the same rate. Not only was this completely unrealistic but the Clinton administration lied about what the growth rate was during his last two years in office.

The so called surplus never materialized because the Bush administration inherited a recession. Its really not that difficult to understand if you arent afraid of facts.
