As I suspected, zero evidence that they're affiliated with any political party, let alone the GOP.

Shameless hack.

"In the past, Breitbart has said O'Keefe — now a paid contributor to biggovernment.com — is an independent filmmaker, not an employee."

OOPS, under the bus, lol...

4 charged in phone scheme at La. senator's office - Yahoo! News

Are there a lot of people who self-identify as "conservative activists" who are in the Democratic Party?

It will be interesting to see this play out.

The independent filmmaker who brought ACORN to its knees last year with an undercover expose was arrested this week along with three others, including the son of a federal prosecutor, and accused of trying to interfere with the phones at Democratic Sen. Mary Landrieu's office.

The independent filmmaker who brought ACORN to its knees last year with an undercover expose was arrested this week along with three others, including the son of a federal prosecutor, and accused of trying to interfere with the phones at Louisiana Sen. Mary Landrieu's office.

Activist James O'Keefe, 25, was already in Landrieu's New Orleans office Monday when Robert Flanagan and Joseph Basel, both 24, showed up claiming to be telephone repairmen, according to U.S. Attorney Jim Letten's office. Letten says O'Keefe recorded the two with his cell phone.

Once inside the reception area, Flanagan, the son of acting U.S. Attorney Bill Flanagan in Shreveport, and Basel asked for access to the main phone at the reception desk.

After handling the phone, "Flanagan and Basel next requested access to the telephone closet because they needed to perform work on the main telephone system," Letten's office said.

The men were directed to another office in the building, they're accused of again misrepresenting themselves as telephone repairmen.

They were arrested later by the U.S. Marshal's Service. Details of the arrest were not available. A fourth man, Stan Dai, 24, was also arrested, but Letten's office said only that he assisted the others in planning, coordinating and preparing the operation.

Federal officials did not say why the men wanted to interfere with Landrieu's phones or whether they were successful. Landrieu, a moderate Democrat, declined comment Tuesday. She has been in the news recently because she negotiated an increase in Medicaid funds for her state before announcing her support for Senate health care legislation.

:lol::lol:Didn't they learn anything from Watergate?

This is

SO AWESOMELY FUNNY!!!!

...rightwingers rule! (as entertainment)

It's irony more than anything. Especially with ACORN now being cleared of all charges. So this "crusader" is going to go to jail with his only work resulting in nothing.

Speaking of "crusaders" .... where's Frank?

This kid is his boy, yo!

He's going to be someone else's boy if doesn't get one hell of a lawyer or do some serious singing.

If the RNC is involved in this in anyway shape or form, this will soon become the most lulzy thing of the year. They'd be taking a page from the Democrats page book by grasping defeat from the jaws of victory.

It's so funny that for the Acorn thing, GOP Congressmen wanted him honored. OOPS

Are you now claiming that 20 some states are dropping their investigations of ACORN?

News From Underground: Yes, ACORN is innocent ON ALL COUNTS

The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN)
did not commit voter fraud, and it didn’t misuse federal funding in the last
five years, according to a recently released report prepared by the Congressional
Research Service (CRS), a nonpartisan investigational arm of Congress.
Among its findings, CRS also reported that recently enacted federal legislation
to prohibit funding to ACORN raises significant constitutional concerns
. The report
said courts “may have a sufficient basis” to conclude that the legislation “violates the
prohibition against bills of attainder.” Also, concerning recent “sting” operations
related to ACORN, although state laws vary, two states, Maryland and California,
“appear to ban private recording of face to face conversations absent the consent of
all the participants,” the report said.

A blog? No. This is news you can find on any website. I used the first one I could find. A non-partisan group found them innocent of all charges. That was my point.

Congressional Study Finds No ACORN Violations The Speakers Lobby

There's Fox News.
Thank you for that. It really annoyed the hell out of me that Congress, including the cowardly Dems, stripped them of grants over these videos. Anyone with half a brain could see they were doctored.
