Few Democrats survive healthcare vote - The Hill's Healthwatch

I warned ya libs! I warned ya in 2008 and I warned you after Obamacare passed.

I knew this was going to happen. I knew liberals were going to think they no longer had to hide their real agenda once they won in 2008. They thought the mask could come off and they could finally be the socialists they really are.

So, they did. They went full tilt European style socialism. They ignored the American people who protested, who sent emails and phonecalls saying they didn't like their agenda.

They ignored it all. They thought if they shoved it down our throat that we would finally reallize we were better off, as children being cared for by our Nanny Goverment.

But something happened last night. The American people did NOT love the bill as much as Pelosi said we would once it was passed.

We did NOT just back down and decide there was nothing we could do about it. We DID do something about it and now Dear Nancy is out of a job!

    This is a good day!

I wonder how many Dems will jump on board if they really do try to recind this bill??

I think there were a lot of Dems who were forced by Pelosi and Reid to pass the thing. Of course Ol'BO can veto.

Wonder if they could get a 2/3rds majority to override a veto??

    Food for thought.

You didn't complain when you got Medicaid all those years. Are you still on Medicaid?

Medicaid is insolvent. Do we need more where that came from?

FEW Democrats survived it? Looks to me like 51 Democrats still in the Senate and 190 give or take in the House...

...how does that translate into FEW surviving it? Looks like MOST survived it.

    Why start a thread that's a lie?

I think that's a distinct possibility. I mean, there were Democrat that were strong armed into voting for healthcare. NOW they know that Obamacare is the kiss of death, I think you are going to see some Dems that are willing to join the GOP in voting to repeal. They want to keep their jobs! ;)

Um, I've never been on Medicaid, Carbiner. I've always paid for my healthcare, even when my job didn't provide insurance (in the 80s), I paid for my healthcare out of pocket.

I'm not for leaching off the system.

I was raised that way. When my dad lost his job in the 70s, and we lost almost everything, it got to the point that all we had to eat was popcorn I'm serious, popcorn! But we never took a dime. We watched the furniture go bye bye as we sold it, we sat on the floor and we ate popcorn.

But we made it through, and we came back stronger. I wasn't raised to take the money of others during hard times.

That's the difference between me and you Carbiner.

You think the country owes you something.

I think I owe the country something. ;)

It's not a lie Carbiner! Democrats lost seats in the Senate, they didn't gain. Republicans gained seats.

They didn't take the Senate, but the rest of them know their job is in jeopardy if they continue to side with Obama.

As for the House, that was HISTORIC!

The only lies today are coming out of liberals trying to spin this as nothing short than a MAJOR repudiation of Obama's policies.

But sputter and spin all you want!
