Feral Hogs Moving Into Urban Areas In Texas

Are the tags that readily available?
My knowledge while limited would tell me if they're making news for moving into urban areas they have probably been in the area for quite some time already and been in smaller population.

Shoot all you want. day or night. all year long---just need a standard hunting permit.
There are millions of em. ( the smaller the hog, the better the taste)

Feral pigs are not unknown in the Diablo Valley, less than 30 miles from San Francisco. They tear up lawns seeking grubs. Fish & Game has issued permits to professional hunters to kill them, the animal is then processed and fed to the poor. In San Francisco itself, Coyotes are now seen in parks around The City, and Ca. Mountain Lions have been seen in some very wealthy neighborhoods in the entire SF Bay Area.
Suggesting animals be shot by local yokels in an urban environment is stupid. Then again, the discussion is centered on Texas.

The city traps them and kills them. No one is suggesting that you shoot one in your front yard. If one likes to hunt and is constrained by time, hog hunting provides some action, rids the area of pests and puts meat on the table.
