CDZ Fellow Conservatives, let's discuss Donald Trump together.

no reason not to FORCE mexico to pay . Just start charging money to the Mexicans in the USA that send money back to mexico . Plus there are other means like tarrifs , taxes on goods that they sell in the USA . ------------ mexico is no friend to the USA 'Friends' . Time to put the boot on their neck !!

Personally, he's an enigma to me. He simultaneously makes me want to say "Hell yeah!" and makes me frightened. I've never truly been at a point where I have said "he's my guy". There are questions, lots of them.

First off, I don't care that he was a Democrat at one point. Hell, I used to be a democrat. I used my first vote at 18 for Jimmy Carter. People can change and sometimes even over night. I don't buy that he's a Clinton plant to help her get elected. Perhaps some of you can convince me otherwise if you actually believe that.

I like a few of his ideas, I think his illegal immigration plan is a tad extreme, but it's a good thing because if he has to compromise a bit, it will still end up with some real progress. I like the fact that he's a leader. Pompous? Perhaps but so is Obama and Obama, unlike Trump, has no reason to be. Arrogant? Sure, but I don't care about that.

Many of his other plans bother me. How will we pay for them?

Is he really intending on forcing people and companies to bring back their money from overseas? Does he know how tyrannical that is?

Tariffs on foreign goods? No thank you. That would increase our cost of living tremendously.

All that said, I'd vote for The Donald over Hillary, Sanders, or Biden any day.
I would like to first say that I have no specific party affiliation, and this is not meant to favor any one party over another.

Donald trump running for president is the best thing that could have happened for the democratic party. if he is chosen as the candidate, many moderate republicans will end up not voting because they will be bitter and not want to support him. if he is not chosen many of his supporters will end up not voting for the same reasons. either way, the republican party will lose a lot of swing states and lose the election.

this is just my tentative prediction, and it may very well be wrong, but ti is still my best prediction.

Big screen tv's used to cost $5000. Now they're made in China and sell for $200. tariff the shit out of them and if you can't afford one, tough shit. tariff luxuries so people can afford necessities.

That's just nuts.

I don't like Donald Trump because he is a crazy lunatic. Any time someone criticizes him, he acts like a crazy lunatic. I don't want this crazy lunatic anywhere near the red button that could end the world. I wanted Scott Walker, who was a good conservative, and deserved our support. I feel like we are now in an upside-down alternative reality where Trump runs for President and pushes all the good candidates out of the running. This will not end well.

Trump acts in an unorthodox way yes, but I seriously doubt he would act that way as POTUS. At least I'm not worried about him and the red button. Once in office, he would run the country with the same serious mental state he ran his businesses. Remember too that the POTUS is not a Caesar. He doesn't have absolute power. Not even where the red button is concerned. He will still have advisors around him.

That said, I'm voting for Cruz.

Nevertheless, a wall to keep out illegal immigrants from Mexico would cost a lot of money.

The cost is massive NOT to build the wall. He would find a way to make Mexico pay so he says. I have no problem turning USA GOVT over to the likes of Trump for four years. He has always been a winner. We need a winner. Time to shake things up. $20T debt? it ain't working like it is.

Trump is sounding more like a politician every day.

Trump is a fast learner, He's so fucking rich, he doesn't have to lie, what for? I LIKE that, I believe this man is not a conservative in the expected definition of conservative, but DAMN, he hits all the right buttons, REFUSES to back down, bitch slaps the MSM and scum bag minorities like the bullshit fag Latino groups (bought with Soros money, and aided by the DNC) that tried to picket him last night, and has the reputation of when saying something, he ACTUALLY does it! EVERY OTHER POLITICIAN, is bought, more or less, by LOBBYISTS, I know Trump doesn't give a damn about them, he wants America great once more, and he seems to be the man to accomplish that, pissing off both DemocRATS and the Repubic elite! Hell, give him a chance, he sure can't FUCK IT UP any worse than the Manchurian muslim has!

And from a friend.......

When this political season started I backed Cruz exclusively. When Trump made his announcement I paid no attention to it at all.

I knew very little about him and didn’t really care to know.

I just figured it would be another primary where I would make phone calls and send my small donations to Cruz only to have Jeb or Rubio be the evential nominee. I figured I would, once again, have to decide if I was going to hold my nose and vote for the GOPe candidate, knowing he would lose anyway, or stand my ground and refuse to vote or write Cruz in.

Then Donald Trump started getting a lot of attention and was saying things I agreed with. I started doing some research on him and read 3 of his books. I listened to as many interviews as I could and watched every rally I could. The more I read and heard, the more I liked what he was saying.

I switched my support from Cruz to Trump for two reasons, although I still want Cruz to be on the ticket.

Reason number one is that from reading his books I found that I believed him and trusted him. I don’t agree with everything he said, namely de-funding part of PP, but I believe he loves this country and wants to take the power back from the elite and put it in the hands of the people.

I have yet to hear one story from an ex-employee or anyone that knows him say anything bad about him. They all say he is loyal and keeps his word. I also believe that even though he may not be strong on social issues he will do what we want him to do. In other words, if congress can put a bill on his desk de-funding PP; he will sign it. What some people have such a problem with is Trump’s lack of ideology but that actually can work in our favor. He is not ideologically for abortion or for funding it so if we want it de-funded he will sign the bill.

I also believe he will follow through on building the wall (which is something he believes strongly in), changing the H-B1 program, strengthening enforcement, deport the criminal element, deport the rest as he can, and do what he can to change the anchor baby problem. Can we really expect more from any of the others?

The second reason is that Trump is very strong on law and order. He believes we have laws, they should be followed, and should be prosecuted if not followed. I truly believe that he will prosecute Hillary, Obama, or any other government official who broke the law. I have reason to believe this because of what people in his inner circle have said and are doing behind the scene. Remember, he is very good friends with Rudy and part of the reason for that friendship is the way Rudy cleaned up New York City.

You pointed out some, seeming, discrepancies in some of his interviews but I think he is just treading lightly in those cases rather than give the, dishonest, media any more fodder. I chose to believe what he writes and what people who know him say.

People always say “this is the most important election of our lifetime” but this time I think that may be true. I don’t want my grandchildren living in a country where English is a second language.

Although I like Cruz I don’t think he can achieve the changes we need on his own; if we could even get him elected.

It will take out of the box thinking, congress being constantly off guard and unsure of what will happen, and basically a bull dog to do whatever needs to be done.

Donald Trump is our bulldog.

My thoughts concerning Donald Trump are confused, at best. I am in tune with the fact that he is business wise and savvy. I, being an old dog, am also accustomed to letting politicians take care of politics. Having said that I am disgusted with the level of corruption we see todays politicians involved with. I simply trust none of them. And, we have also seen what a rookie, Obama namely, can do when in office. The libbers love his style as the goal of the Socialist side of the country are closer to their goals of breaking the American Constitution than they ever have been. And frankly, as long as they control the education of America's young, one day they will do just that. Donald Trump would without doubt throw a monkey wrench into that for a time, perhaps. I simply cannot say I trust him to do that. Obama has proven that through corrupt courts and by using Presidential decrees that the Congress is surmountable and can be stymied, if you have the Reid's and Pelosi's to take point for you. Socialism thrives on confusion as no one seems to know what to do next. Perhaps Trump's dogmatic style might right a listing ship such as our country is. However, if "The Donald" is ultimately the "chosen" I will support him. The others on the stage are there for exposure only to keep their names in the Washington daily news. Rubio is filthy, Cruz is offensive and mildly stupid, Jeb is some where on another planet, and Carson needs a hobby. Not to mention that he may be more of the same prior eight years. Whats his name from South Carolina is a good old boy politician and $$$$$$ wise.Neither party, Republican or Democrat, has a truly qualified, honest, hard working and trust worthy candidate. It is that simple. For me it is"long shot time", So, bring on the New Yorker, things cannot get any worse in my opinion. Lets get it done!
